Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept inside a three(3) metre by six(6) metre containment cell, made of seven(7) inches of bullet-resistant plexiglass and steel. SCP-XXXX may only be handled for testing purposes. SCP-XXXX testing must be approved by personnel of clearance level 3 or higher.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a silver revolver with a black leather grip. when used to shoot a living or nonliving target, SCP-XXXX fires a bullet with the force of a shotgun. When the bullets hit the intended target, said target will, if living, suffer intense injuries extending six(6) inches from the initial contact wound, followed by a burning sensation, loss of feeling, and a prevention of clotting. Nonliving entities will be punctured by the gun as if the material it was going through were paper, until it goes all the way through and hits whatever is behind the target. When someone holds SCP-XXXX, they will feel a strong compulsion to shoot the gun at something nearby. After using SCP-XXXX, the subject will begin to feel an extreme fear just by looking at SCP-XXXX, and attempt to get rid of it in the most bizarre ways possible, hence the classification 'Euclid'. This effect does not take effect for subjects in the age ranges 0-17 years and 40+ years.

Addendum: SCP-XXXX was discovered when a male soldier discovered it in the bottom of a river. When said soldier used it to fire at a target to test if SCP-XXXX still functioned, he found the tree he aimed at, which was one(1) square metre thick, to have completely been shot through with the bullet stuck in the tree directly behind the target tree. The story immediately reached the Foundation, and a team was quickly dispatched to retrieve the item, and the subject was brought in for a memory wipe after questioning.

Interviewed: Subject; John ███████████. Age 43.

<Begin Log, SCP-XXXX >

Welwickke: So, John, where did you discover SCP-XXXX?

John: You mean the gun? I found it at the bottom of a river when I was looking for stones to paint with my youngest daughter.
Welwickke: and how old is your youngest daughter?

John: She's seven, sir.
Welwickke: Mhm. scratches down notes. And what did you feel when you fired SCP-XXXX?

John: I felt shocked… scared, even. What the hell IS that thing? You're not going to use it as an actual weapon or mass-produce it, are you?

Welwickke: No, John, we are not. This place was made to keep paranormal things away from the public. What did you think when you saw the effect of SCP-XXXX?

John: I don't want to keep talking about this.
