Containment Procedures

SCP-5789 should always be contained in a 6 foot by 6 foot room (1.829 meters x 1.829 meters). The area where it is currently held is facility #[][][], in cell #[][][][]. When transferring SCP-5789, all persons who are transferring must not have anything they can kill themselves with on them or near them for SCP-5789 makes those around it suicidal instantaneously. If people are around it for at least five minutes, it makes the people around it start asking others if they have any sharp things on them that they can kill themselves with. The reason it seems to do this is because it is an organism that needs to eat to keep itself alive. Once those around it kill themselves, it appears crawl over to its victim's corpse and start eating it. We know that it is safe when it is contained.

Description

SCP-5789 is an organism that resembles a violoncello. On its back side it has a mouth with approximately forty-four teeth, and on either side of its mouth, it has five 10 inch legs that are folded up until it kills a victim, the legs are also incredibly strong. Instead of metal strings, this organism's strings appear to be made of what looks like human hair, and instead of being made of wood, it's made of thick flesh and a rib cage is inside to keep it from collapsing in on itself. Tests have proven that SCP-5789 does indeed contain organs within itself.
