Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be placed inside a small chest made out of gold with purity level of exactly 22 karat, with luminescent red colored silk as it's interior and the initials R.A. embodied on the top lid in calligraphy font. the chest then can be store within a proper storage unit.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an old scroll made out of an unknown material with a minor resemblance to papyrus which is rolled onto and held by two handles made out of presumably wood. upon opening SCP-XXXX, it will show an empty page, then after about 3 to 5 seconds it will dislocate itself from it's holder, levitate in place and glow for a duration of about 10 seconds with light strong enough to temporarily blind personal who make direct eye contact at it, regardless of eye protection. after the glow dies out, instances of SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-XXXX-3 are present (it has been concluded they are formed in the initial glow). after that, SCP-XXXX will start glowing again, this time in gold, as letters of unknown language starts to form on it [Translation pending]. Upon attempting to close SCP-XXXX, it will glow again in the hands of it's holder for a duration of about 3 seconds, temporarily blinding everyone else in the room who look at it, then it will close itself in the hands of it's holder and cause SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-XXXX-3 to disappear. the glow then will slowly die out

Addendum 1: SCP-XXXX.1 - Video log of Dr. Jim Keller opening SCP-XXXX for the first time
Date: 13/██/████

BEGIN LOG
Dr. Keller : when we have opened SCP-XXXX, it started to glow in a white colored light which was so bright some of the class D personal were reported blind for the next 24 hours because they didn't look away fast enough. I, however, was lucky to notice something was wrong when this scroll snatched itself from the Class D holding it and started floating for no apparent reason. after the light dies out, SCP-XXXX then is seen laying on a pedestal with a quill and a small Inkwell filled with an unknown liquid are resting besides SCP-XXXX on the pedestal, we have sent a small sample of the liquid inside SCP-XXXX-3 for further research.
We have decided to classify the pedestal SCP-XXXX-1 and the quill and inkwell SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-XXXX-3 respectively.
Upon further look of SCP-XXXX while it's open has lead to a few fascinating discoveries: besides each of what seem to be a paragraph of 8 lines each there is a small box which once ticked with an X using SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-XXXX-3, a voice starts echoing in the head of the ticker with an unknown language
