The SCP is safe-euclid hybrid, but has to be contained by the SCP foundation for reasons of worldwide or even galaxy wide war. 4 pillars stand outside area of containment linked to █████████'s heart monitor, so if and when it flat-lines, plastic explosives will blow the pillars, resulting in the box, the attackers, and even those who would give their lives would be incinerated in the blast.

"The engagement of 'The Absorber' is similar to the SCP-106 nicknamed 'The Old Man' and is to be treated with much caution. My first encounter with an SCP was with the Absorber, and was very timid compared to other SCP's, such as SCP-682, the reptilian re-generator,and was docile to say the least. XXXX is a Euclid class SCP and can be incredibly violent, and will incapacitate any instigator, through various forms. Some of these forms include pipes, sponges, small wash cloths, and a black-ish purple unknown substance of unknown origin or viscosity. Speculation and conspiracy and among the civilian populace has led to the SCP foundation cracking down on a UFO crash site at [redacted] in the small [redacted] island of [redacted]. the only known way of containment is through a specific box like object. Those who have touched the box have experienced visions, and have been driven insane to touch what they call in a scribbled dialect, the beast. Further investigation has proved that the Absorber was used as an alien death device and those who touched the cube were tagged with a ray like line of IR liquid from off in the stars. I have attempted to stop this line through direct contact with my body, but was infected myself. After therapeutic amnesiac treatment I feel fine, but have occasional dreams of the beast. A sickening snap played over the audio recording as the security footage played SCP-173 twist █████'s head 180 degrees before bending it off with just brute force. A hideous thud is heard as we see the decapitated corpse fall forwards onto a table.
Information and Formal Containment Protocol
Security is of usual to a Euclid class SCP, and a norm of containment is to be kept inside a box like object with what looks like runic language written on it. Plenty of users have unfortunately been in direst contact with the box and were absorbed by the mass inside. Multiple shapes have appeared while raiding the UFO crash site in ████ and have been awarded to it by the residence, and by chance, every observation of the creature is in the appearance of either a Mueller streamline 1/2 inch 1 foot pipe, a Decker manufacturing sponge, or a dirty cloth. Original form of the SCP was only viewed by a prodigy researcher and analysis collection expert, Dr. ███████ █████. Further testing has revealed that the Absorber was not only capable of absorbing any material not dependent on size, but also have incredible intelligence, and even expressed remorse toward Dr. █████ and felt pain and loss when he was discovered as a worker for an anarchist group know as the Goat's Servants. No risk could be taken, and immediate termination followed by SCP-173. To insure his position in the foundation wasn't compromised, █████ tried recording a documentary meant for top level researchers and level 5 officers. The recording was only used once for documentation. Since then, several internet leaks have been confirmed and shut down, along with the aptly named "leakers", also in the Goat's servants. Tracking and containment followed and amnesiac memory transplant, with placement and continued surveillance. Many of the victims instead of mumbling in chants what seemed like "the beast" ever since Dr. █████ was informally terminated by 173, had been saying things like "████ will come back in years of 5" or "███████ will return in the body one one's kin.". Incessant screaming haunts the chamber, and those unlucky enough to touch the container would be as the title suggests, absorbed by the anomaly. Due to efforts on location, we have came into contact with the alien race that (by chance) crashed the ship for our recovery. They used this SCP as an execution method, and the ship was a transport drone that carried the dangerous Absorber, and the execution was known to the alien race as "Ubnokeer" or "liquid black". Return to the civilization and transport of 5038 are vital for the ULS (unidentified living species) as they do not like to inflict violence and are perfectly safe SCP's, and a prisoner is most likely (by translation) a birth defect or major psychologically set back. An exchange between us and the (by translation) "Egnops" are yet to be determined.

SCP-682
After release into enclosure, 682 turned in on the box and started ripping at it. as soon as it had started, it would be over, as 682 touched the box, it began opening it by touching the runes, then, when it came open, 682 stuck it's head in. As soon as the brain was in the gaping darkness of the sponge, it pulled away, quickly reforming it's head, and hissing, all while rearing away. Further testing required on both 682 and XXXX.

A few hours passed as XXXX absorbed 001. After two days of thinking that 001 was lost forever, 5038 was discovered to be sentient and gave back 001 to the foundation and thank the workers for helping him become enriched with the knowledge of the odd, the weird, and the outlandish.

Using his powers, the old man transported the box to his small pocket dimension where 106 experienced immense pain, and the pocket dimension was ripped into shreds as the box fell out of the small wormhole. 106 appeared to disintegrate. after 38 hours, the box opened and a brand new 106 stepped out. Further testing required.

Sighting:Boy (Infant from Data log [1]) now 10 and has absorbed SCP-1290 while in the custody of the SAFE class section of Base November-Romeo-Charlie. The boy has been briefly seen of security cams and claims "He wants to go to disneyland." Odd. The only worker at Facility November-Romeo-Charlie who ever wanted to go to Disneyland was TFM ██████. He was absorbed by XXXX years ago. I was able to find the boy in the chamber of SCP-028. This resulted in 2 guards, Victor and Hernandez, KIA.

"That information is classified." "Well, I hope so. Anyways, Agent 0226 was down so I hurried back into the tubes. I felt a tug on my lab coat, and I looked down to see a leak. A small crack in the tube had been tugging at my lab coat, so I threw my ID tag at it. I felt the pressure reverse and I was sucked back into the tube. The whole tube was close to dislodging, so I turned up the velocity of the pod. I felt no gravity, just for a moment. That's when it went black." "Are you aware you are one of the only people to be absorbed by SCP-XXXX-1. You are now an anomaly." A screeching of a chair signaled XXX-2 to stand up with █████████ as well.
