Containment Procedure:
SCP-6038 is a weed that grows, from what we have found, about 15000 times slower than other weeds, so it's subtle and whoever obtains one will never realize that it is a [REDACTED].
SCP-6038 cannot be eaten, and the air it produces can be harmful to the lungs. While D-136 told us that it tasted like a crumb of sweet bread, it slowly turned into a bitter, nasty taste. DO NOT EAT SCP-6038. It can move, but very slowly. This gives SCP-6038 an advantage, because it's not likely anyone would notice its movement. Keep cameras in SCP-6038's containment room, and every day, record its movement, and at the end of the day, retrieve the recording and speed it up to see if SCP-6038 has moved. If SCP-6038 leaves the room, it will be able to find and target any creature it sees, and will camouflage with the walls and wrap its branches around the targets limbs to prevent movement, and forces itself into the target's mouth to kill it.
Extra Notes:
SCP-6038 is known as the Cough Weed in Lab-631, because of the effects it has on test subjects. When D-136 chewed up a piece of the Cough Weed and swallowed it, they began to cough. They never stopped, and the coughs sounded painful. And extremely loud. Eventually, they coughed up pieces of their internal organs. the bits were about 1 inch in diameter. The test subject eventually died, and when Dr. [REDACTED] ran an autopsy, we found pieces of the Cough Weed, burrowed inside the organs where the coughed up pieces left small holes.
