SCP-XXXX before being apprehended by Foundation agents.

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a chest in the storage department of Site-██. Personnel interacting with SCP-XXXX directly are required to wear hazmat material to prevent SCP-XXXX from entering an active state.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a marble statue resembling a shark of the Carcharodon genus. SCP-XXXX posses humanoid limbs, which allows it to navigate on land when it is in an active state. It has four (4) rows of sharp teeth that allow SCP-XXXX to efficiently cleave through skin and bone. Foundation researchers have confirmed that SCP-XXXX's teeth are made of ████████, unlike the rest of its body.

SCP-XXXX has two (2) states of activity: passive and active. If SCP-XXXX is damaged it will repair itself in its passive state. SCP-XXXX completes this process by consuming marble from other sources and reintegrating it to replace marble that was previously damaged. Otherwise, SCP-XXXX acts the same as any standard, un-anomalous statue. During this state, SCP-XXXX can be easily interacted with without incident as long as caution is taken to prevent SCP-XXXX from becoming active.

An active state is triggered by SCP-XXXX's contact with any bodily fluid that can be found within a organism. When a subject's bodily fluids come into contact with SCP-XXXX, it will rapidly move in a shaking motion for approximately fifteen (15) seconds before it stops and becomes animated. SCP-XXXX will then determine the location of the subject by [DATA EXPUNGED] and use it's limbs to crawl towards the subject at a speed of six (6) miles per hour. When SCP-XXXX comes into contact with the subject, it will proceed to hold down the subject with its limbs and use its mouth to decapitate the subject. After completing this action, SCP-XXXX will once more move in a shaking motion for fifteen (15) seconds and then re-enter its passive state.

When in its active state, SCP-XXXX will continue to pursue the originator of the bodily fluid until it either decapitates the originator or it comes into contact with a bodily fluid of a different source (see Experiment-XXXX-B). SCP-XXXX does not have the ability to destroy materials weaker than marble, which allows for easy escape for individuals who have triggered its active state. However, SCP-XXXX will ceaselessly chase after the individual and will use opportunities such as the opening of doors or windows to maintain its pursuit.

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered by Foundation agents in █████████, Pennsylvania after a rash of disappearances. This lead to its discovery and capture by the █████████ Police Department where it would lead to the death of two (2) officers before being intercepted by Agent ██████ and transported to Site-██.

Experiment-XXXX-A: One (1) D-class is placed into a secure room with SCP-XXXX. The D-class is instructed by Dr. M████████ to spit onto SCP-XXXX. The D-class did as requested and SCP-XXXX converted to its active state. Confused, the D-class was caught easily by SCP-XXXX and was held down and quickly decapitated. SCP-XXXX then returned to its passive state.

Experiment-XXXX-B: One(1) D-class is placed into a secure room with SCP-XXXX. Prior to entry, the D-class was given a vial containing Dr. M████████'s saliva and is told to expose the saliva to SCP-XXXX. The D-class did as instructed and SCP-XXXX entered its active state and began to move towards the observation window, where Dr. M████████ was located. After two (2) minutes, the D-class is instructed to spit onto SCP-XXXX, which the D-class complied with after some persuading. SCP-XXXX instantly stops its movement and begins to show the signs signalling the beginning of its active state. The D-class is then caught by SCP-XXXX and decapitated. SCP-XXXX then enters its passive state.
