Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently uncontainable. The effects of SCP-XXXX among non-foundation personnel are to be attributed to anemoia. Any personnel experiencing the effects of SCP-XXXX are to remain vigilant and refuse to join SCP-XXXX-1.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an event in which an individual experiences invasive memories of a past they have never lived. The affected demonstrate a melancholic fondness of particular places and how they once were. Individuals claim to have memories of a time period ranging from 10-90 years before they had been born and display regret that they "didn't make better use of their time". Within a time period of 1-8 weeks, the majority of subjects will disappear. Attempts to track the subjects have been unsuccessful.
Affected individuals receive non-anomalous letters on a daily basis, each varying in topic but always ending with the request for the individual to "come back" with "Westly". It is currently unknown if Westly is an anomalous being causing SCP-XXXX, or if they are entirely fictional, serving merely as a lure. Regardless, "Westly" is to be referred to as SCP-XXXX-1.
If one is able to withstand SCP-XXXX for longer than 8 weeks, they will cease to feel the effects and return to normalcy within a month.
