Special Containment Procedures: [REVISED] as of September 2nd 20██ (See incident XXXX-B for reference) SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a standard humanoid containment cell at site-██. A Bed is to be the only furniture, and is to be positioned at the center of the room, away from the walls. Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX's condition, it must have a least one handler/carer with it at all times. The agent assigned must have a Psionic Resistance Index score of at least 45 or higher if possible. SCP-XXXX is to wear a set of gold plated bracelets, one to be locked around the wrist and the other around the ankle. Extreme care must be taken to ensure that gold touches bare skin of SCP-XXXX at all times. Restraints are to be checked once per day. In the event that any gold plating has separated from the restraint, or if the locking mechanism is damaged. The restraints is to be replaced immediately, during the replacement process one restraint must remain on the subect while the other is changed over. SCP-XXXX is also to be sedated at 22:00 every night before it sleeps. This is to prevent unnecessary suffering to the specimen, and to minimize potential damage to its restraints or itself during nocturnal episodes.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an adolescent female of indeterminable decent. With naturally purple hair and eyes of exact matching color as its hair. Pale Markings like tattoos on both arms, starting at the back of the hands and moving up in a spiral pattern,covering the collar bone and meeting at the center of the it;s chest. Analyse of the marks concluded that no ink is present. Rather these are naturally occurring for it and are rich in luciferin, and a luciferase, enzymes responsible for bio-luminescence in certain kinds of animals. When SCP-XXXX's abilities are active the "markings" start to glow with violet light.
SCP-XXXX possess extreme and dangerous psionic ability. The full extent of SCP-XXXX's ability has not been tested, and all further testing has been expressly forbidden (See XXXX-A for reference) The documented Psionic abilities before testing was prohibited included Telekenisis, Telepathy and an ability to break down covalent bounds between atoms. The ability of SCP-XXXX didn't leave it unaffected however. The ability it has afflicted it with debilitating nightmares that driven it into insanity. The reason for this are unclear, current theory being that being able to read minds at such a young age might be the cause.

SCP-XXXX is unable to function normally. Not being able to feed or dress itself, and has no communication skills to speak of. For this reason it requires constant supervision from a handler. For reasons still unclear to facility researchers. Gold of at least nine karat (37.5% percent pure gold) can be successfully employed to nullify all anomalous effects of SCP-XXXX as long as a trace amount up to 0.1 grams touches exposed skin of the entity.
SCP-XXXX was first brought to the attention of the foundation on November 20th 20██. When agents in the field started getting reports of anomalous activity at St Boerio mental hospital in █████. Some of the reports included but are not limited to.
- Objects seemingly moving of their own accord.
- Patients and staff seeing phantom apparition of ghost like people or creatures wondering the halls.
- Patients and staff hearing a voice whispering or screaming that no one else could hear.
- Moments of collective headaches experienced by everyone in the hospital.
When a team was dispatched to investigate they arrived to find everyone inside the hospital facility already deceased. The only exception being SCP-XXXX which was found in its room, object such as a toothbrush, chairs, hairbrush and blankets floating in the air around it in a ring. All of the bodies showed no signs of outward or internal injury or trauma in any way, they all to have seemingly just fallen down during normal activity. Cause of death is still unknown, likely SCP-XXXX did in fact cause it. Possibly without even meaning to.
SCP-XXXX was brought into foundation custody as a precaution, and was later given SPC status after testing showed high levels of Psionic aptitude. With a score of 60 on the Reenberg Psionic scale, higher then any known human subject. St Boerio was also seized into foundation control, and officially condemned and demolished. Great efforts have been made to erasing knowledge of it and its patients.
SCP-XXXX since recovery has been unable to give any useful information about its origins. And recovery of the hospitals records where SCP-XXXX was found have yielded very little, Apart from the SCP-XXXX has no family and was in the countries adoption system, apparently abandoned a few years after birth. Where it remained until the signs of the subjects mental illness became impossible to ignore, at which point it was sent to the hospital. Where it spent eleven years, prior to being recovered by foundation personnel. Blood work and tissue sample testing has revealed that SCP-XXXX is not human. Their Genetic code resembles human DNA only partially (30.3%)
Addendum XXXX-A: Report of SCP-XXXX testing. Test number 004.
at 1320 hours SCP-XXXX was brought to testing chamber 14 at site-██. The gold restraints were unlocked and removed by its handler agent Douglas And was instructed to focus on the target (a standard mannequin that might be found in any retail store) and then was told to attempt to move the target. Confused by the request, SCP-XXXX grew increasingly more agitated. All attempts to calm it were ineffective. The resulting Psionic effect that SCP-XXXX transmitted was felt by everyone inside the facility.
Here is Researcher Albinson's transcribed account of what he experienced.
"it started like low humming. like standing next to a high voltage power-line, but the sound was coming from nowhere. It was just in my head in all directions, coming from everywhere at once. Then it got louder, and louder. Until It was deafening, it was like there were thousands of bees in my head. I think I was probably screaming at the time, but I couldn't hear any of it. Then there was the pain. Simply, it felt like my skull was about to split open. as if someone was taking a power drill to the middle of my brain y'know? couldn't do anything, just lie on floor and clutch my head"
The effect lasted approximately 2 seconds before agent Douglas managed to resist the influence of SPC-XXXX enough to force its restraints back on. At which point the effect was instantly interrupted, and the entity was successfully returned to its cell. Despite the short amount of time of SCP-XXXX's effect. All staff at the site were effected, a total of ███ people. with 50 of the number throughout the facility passed into unconsciousness.
Note: All testing of SCP-XXXX from henceforth is expressly prohibited, unless authorized by by staff of clearance level 04 or above.
Addendum XXXX-B: SCP-XXXX's classification has been upgraded from "Safe" to "Euclid". Originally Classed as "safe" due the fact that until now, SCP-XXXX had never actively attempted to break containment, or even seemed to have the metal capacity to consider containment breach. New containment procedures are as follows. The entity must now be fitted with a second "backup" gold resistant, that is to be affixed the the ankle. Secondly, its bed to be moved to the center of the room. Away from any objects. Third, It must now be sedated each and every night before it sleeps. Decision for the new procedure has been deemed necessary after incident UGJ-452
Incident UGJ-452 report: on September 1st 20██ unknown to personnel staff at the time. But during one of SCP-XXXX's usual "nocturnal episodes" in which the subject enters uncontrollable fit during its sleep cycle. It knocked its restraint that was affixed to it wrist against the adjacent wall to its bed, breaking the locking mechanism. The first one to discover That SCP-XXXX had broken containment was Agent Douglass. Who was found after the incident, as a pile of component atoms, outside the wreckage of what used be the entrance to SCP-XXXX's cell. On site security personnel attempted to neutralize SCP-XXXX after it started to eliminate foundation staff that tried to re-contain SCP-XXXX. Smalls arms fire was quickly found to be ineffective against the subject, as its telekinetic abilities deflected any bullets that came towards it. Members of the security team were hurled against walls with enough force to break every bone in their bodies. While others apparently were mind controlled in to shooting there own team in the back, before turning the guns on themselves. Others were found post incident with no signs of trauma at all, SCP-XXXX having allegedly just focused on them, turning them off like a light-switch. The breach lasted for a total of 33 minuets, in which time mobile task force Zeta-9 ("Mole rats") had been called back from a training exercise to deal with the containment breach. Upon arriving Zeta-9 swept the facility, finding SCP-XXXX in an empty corridor. Seemingly unused to so much use of its abilities, it had been overwhelmed, found a place to sleep. SCP-XXXX was then returned to a new containment cell without further issue.
Note This incident shows that care should be taken to the containment of this SCP. We are dealing with an object that holds extremely dangerous Psionic abilities, and it itself has no control of them. Evidence reviewed from the security cameras suggests that there was no goal of SCP-XXXX of escape, it doesn't even understand the concept. It simply found itself with fathomless power, and panicked when staff tried to quickly contain it. XXXX has to be kept in decommissioned states. If its anomalous ability gets out for even a single moment, it could potentially kill everyone inside the facility in an instant.
