SCP-X

Item #: SCP-X
Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedure:

Indefinite containment of SCP-X is currently impossible. SCP-X has proven to be able to escape or destroy any containment devised for it, with an average of 72 hours between containment and escape. It is possible to hinder SCP-X's movements by subjecting it to cold environments (20o C or below) or forcing it to traverse a body of water. Bribing with food, particularly fruits, has also been shown effective at times.

Wherever site location SCP-X is currently operating, it is to be provided normal living quarters that must be at least 200 meters away from any sensitive data storage unit or other SCP containment cell. Any and all movements of SCP-X are to be monitored constantly via security camera footage or the accompaniment of at least three (3) armed guards wearing Kevlar armor.

Description: SCP-X is a humanoid being with the appearance of a dark-skinned Semitic male. It claims to be 25 years of age, and has a weight and height that agrees with this. It has dark yellow iris' but otherwise appears human. SCP-X has not shared any other alias, preferring to be called SCP-X, or simply X. It was discovered in 1993 in northern ████ when it appeared at Site-██.

For brevity, all details regarding SCP-X's behavior, physical traits, and breach logs are documented below. For SCP-X's interactions with other SCP, please look below.

It has shown two anomalous properties.

The first is SCP-X’s body. Details described above.

SCP-X's second and more interesting anomalous quality is its unique interactions with other SCP. It appears to be immune to almost all other SCP. In most cases, other SCP with physical or memetic anomalous effects are completely or partially ineffective. In addition, many SCP seem to actively avoid SCP-X or at least show discomfort when around it. See SCP-X Interactions test logs for more information.

Due to its interest in the Foundation, along with its ability to escape containment without fail, SCP-X has been personally interviewed by O5. This has led to SCP-X being employed as a Foundation member, though rank and details of the employment are restricted to Level-5 authorization. SCP-X primarily aides in SCP experiments and dealing with containment breaches.

Note that full experiment logs are kept in █████. For brevity, short summaries of each experiment are cataloged here.
SCP-X Interactions Test Logs:

It should be noted that SCP-X shows little hesitation when approaching other SCP and often does not seem concerned with its own well-being, even when told the nature of other SCP’s beforehand.

Despite being very cooperative and despite having significant freedom when it comes to containment, O5-█ has ordered SCP-X to be classified as a Keter-class SCP.

"That boy is smarter than he lets on. You think Safe classification is acceptable, but would you think the same if he wasn't on our side?" -O5-█
