Item #: SCP-XXXX "Santy"
Object Class: Safe Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: LEVEL 2 ACCESS IS REQUIRED TO ACCESS SCP-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX is animate and hostile.
SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 12x12x6m steel containment cell, with functional cameras running on 2 corners, opposite each other in the aforementioned containment cell. Should the cameras in SCP-XXXX's cell cease functionality, at least 4 security personnel are to sedate and relocate SCP-XXXX temporarily to a different cell, until the cameras are operating at best.
While these cameras are being repaired and/or replaced, the rest of the containment cell is to be inspected for any flaws regarding structural integrity of the cell.
In the event of a breach;
All personnel within the sector are to be notified of SCP-XXXX's breach and report to ███████-██. SCP-XXXX can be recontained via mobile containment chamber.
Appearance: SCP-XXXX, commonly referred to by site personnel simply as "Santy", is a metallic humanoid figure, which has a strong resemblance Santa Clause. It's actual composition is unknown, but is speculated to be made from a painted alloy material.
Behaviour: SCP-XXXX is at most times rather docile, and will just orbit the centre of it's containment cell, and only becomes aggravated if attacked or is otherwise acted against in a way it does not see as appropriate. What the boundaries are of what is and is not acceptable, is currently unknown.
When agitated, SCP-XXXX will begin to approach whomever has upset it, and will stop directly in front for an extended period of time, as if preparing to for a more physical confrontation. If SCP-XXXX considers it necessary, (again, these boundaries are not yet known) it will begin moving at an increased pace on a straight path towards whatever it intends to engage with. If SCP-XXXX makes any physical contact with any type of fauna, the organism will suffer from catastrophic organ failure and be dispatched within seconds.
Based upon data collected during tests and other instances where SCP-XXXX has made physical contact with any personnel, after the subject is killed, the corpse will degenerate itself to some extent, making it appear as though the victim has been killed via burns, gunshot wounds, or has been crushed or rammed with some sort of █████ ██████.
While which of these seems to be random, the only constant with SCP-XXXX's victims is that any and all corpses begin bleed heavily through the nose and mouth. Why this happens is currently unknown.
Incident XXXX-2B
Agent █████, now E-████, a former member of the Security Dept. on site-██, possibly mentally afflicted from another anomaly, proceeded to abandon post, opened all doors to SCP-XXXX, and discharged their firearm into 2 other members of security before exiting the facility.
The following is a transcription from the control panel of SCP-XXXX's cell doors.
Cadet ███ and Cadet ████ were killed by Agent █████.
CARD READER: To Access Report, Please Insert Security Card
Agent █████: Guess so..
CARD READER: Card Detected, Reading
CARD READER: Access granted, Agent █████
Agent █████ Hey bud. (Speaking to SCP-XXXX)
Cadet ███: What're you doing?
Agent █████ doesn't respond, but continues to open the last door to SCP-XXXX
Cadet ███ Hey, ████ c'mere I think we might have a problem. Agent █████, stop!
All audio and video feed was cut when agent █████ presumably fired at the camera.
After this incident, SCP-XXXX breached and killed 2 maintenance workers, but was recontained shortly after.
Agent █████ was captured and is now designated as E-Class personnel.
Why Agent █████ was heard speaking to SCP-XXXX so frequently is unknown, but tests between the two are ongoing.
