Containment Procedures
SCP-5080 will be kept in a deadbolt-locked room inside of the facility. Shall be kept away from SCP-079. If any personnel should enter the item's room, the door must be locked when they enter. No more than 1 staff member shall enter at a time. When personnel leave the item's room, they will be checked for any significant or alarming brain damage. If said brain damage occurs in personnel, they must be admitted to the nearest mental facility and will be suspended from work until recovery. Door to the room must be locked at all times.
Description: Item first found in 2011 and was transported to site-15. SCP-5080 is a MacBook made in 2011 out of standard materials. When looking through laptop people will see that there is only one application, while you can't download anything else. This application is simply labeled, "Look."
When application is opened witnesses recall seeing a smiling face with blood pouring out of their eyes. There is text at the bottom that reads, "It's too late." The person using the laptop will then see pictures of horrifying entities, mutilated bodies and disturbing imagery. These images have caused strange brain activity in whoever is watching this laptop. This brain activity can result in suicidal thoughts, self harm, crippling depression and mental insanity. This computer has caused 7 recorded people to undergo one or more of these symptoms.
Class-D personnel must check on the laptop weekly to make sure that no other applications are downloaded, and that the computer has no recent activity except for the last time personnel have checked it. If there is any recent activity apart from this one exception, this laptop must be destroyed at all costs. This check-up will happen at least once a week.
