Special Containment Procedure: This anomalous entity must be sealed within an airtight titanium cube at least 3 km underground with 3 km of dirt surrounding it to prevent any water supplies being tainted. (This variable can be changed if its effects worsen)

Description: This entity I often described as a purple or colourless, gaseous ball with a solemn face, but it is perceived slightly differently by every person who is exposed to it. To safely observe this entity you must be encased in a acid proof hazmat suit several inches thick with only a single slit filled with thick Metallic glass. Direct exposure to this entity with be immediately followed by extremely painful death as the subject in question is melted slowly as an unknown acid forms inside their bones kills them in around █ minutes, any atoms left drift toward and circle around SCP-XXXX and are absorbed into its mass. Subject is always polite an apologetic when this happens. It hates bright lights so it is kept in a dark cell.

The subject is now capable of simple speech after was introduced to SCP-XXXX (who later breached the whole facility) and seemed to initiate contact with SCP-XXXX. The subject is currently being taught how to speak in hopes that it can communicate more freely or so it could attempt to control its effects and is being studied more extensive in hopes that it can be neutralised before its abilities worsen further. Since its classification as Euclid class SCP it has become increasingly impatient with our efforts to neutralise it.

Origin: This entity was found dwelling in a cave in [DATA REDACTED]and was classed and as safe with its negative effects being nausea inducing at worst. It was then sealed in a titanium cube in [DATA REDACTED] after its slowly worsening effects became all too apparent and led to the deaths of █ operatives. Shortly after it was put in the titanium cube and has been buried further as its abilities continue to get worse.

Containment Breach: An incident happened in [DATA REDACTED] when this SCP accidentally breached containment, polluted the water supply of [DATA REDACTED] city which resulted in 98% of the ██████ residents being melted from the inside out. The city was destroyed by our agents to prevent discovery. Any residents left alive after the incident were either terminated or offered jobs. This breach was caused by SCP-XXXX (the Sand man) small patches of SCP-XXXX (Solemn Gas) remain in [DATA REDACTED] and could possibly end all life there. We currently have very few tools to find any of these patches of gas and are constantly patrolling the area to try and detect any particles deemed Hazardous.
