SCPMK

The cover of SCP-XXXX, near identical to a standard copy.

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept unopened on a steel lectern in a standard secure cell at Site-77. Access to the entity's cell requires Level-2 clearance or higher. All staff members involved in testing of SCP-XXXX should be briefed on the key differences between the entity's contained universe and our own.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an early copy of Mein Kampf similar in appearance to copies published in the late 1920s, though it's exact publishing date is currently unknown. SCP-XXXX is significantly thicker than one of its non-anomalous counterparts, being several hundred pages longer. Other immediately noticeable differences include the copyright and publications page being torn out and a note, written in French, on the inside back cover reading: "Nazi Scum".

A more detailed examination of the book reveals further anomalous qualities: despite the entity's text being written entirely in German, SCP-XXXX can be read and understood by people fluent in certain European languages, irrelevant of whether they also speak German. As of ██/██/19██ readers fluent in the following languages can read SCP-XXXX; French, Hungarian, Romanian, Danish, Finnish and Irish Gaelic.

The autobiography in SCP-XXXX is not constant with that of a standard copy of Mein Kampf, it appears Adolf Hitler (Henceforth referred to as SCP-XXXX-A) lead a substantially different life in the universe of SCP-XXXX (Henceforth referred to as SCP-XXXX-Omega). SCP-XXXX-A still fought in World War I, or as he refers to it "The Weltkrieg", however for reasons currently unknown SCP-XXXX-Omega's war continues past 1918 and into the early 1920s. Due to the author's assumption that the reader is knowledgeable of the wartime events of SCP-XXXX-Omega, the reasons for many results of the 'Weltkrieg' are unknown. Notable results of the war differing from our equivalent are a German victory in the 19██ Battle of ██████ and subsequent invasion of central France, ending with German capture of Paris.

The exact outcomes past this point are only partially known, however, it should be noted that expeditions into SCP-XXXX-Omega have confirmed that Britain and France have fallen to radical socialist regimes, while extracts from SCP-XXXX talk about the German Empire's transition into a constitutional monarchy.

SCP-XXXX 's more worrying anomalous property is the ability to use the entity as a bridge between our world and SCP-XXXX-Omega. This is achieved by ripping any of the pages in SCP-XXXX, which will transport itself, and all beings in contact with it, to SCP-XXXX-Omega, upon arrival SCP-XXXX will repair the torn page. To return, the same page must be torn again.
The exact location of arrival is not constant, but so far only varies from 4 distinct points. (See Addendum XXXX.03-b). Brent- London- Great Britain, Eimsbüttel- Hamburg-Germany, Sant Martí- Barcelona- Spain and Scarborough- Toronto- Canada. The date on arrival is always ██/██/1936, with all non-digital clocks adjusting themselves. For expedition logs and notes see Addendum XXXX.03-a.

Origin: SCP-XXXX was found on the body of [REDACTED], presumed to be SCP-████-█, after he was murdered and mutilated by Briac Kergoat in Rennes, Brittany (Kergoat is assumed to be the writer of the note on the entity's back cover). The suspect was arrested by French police before being transferred to Foundation custody. Plans were made to interview the suspect, however, he committed suicide during transfer to Site-██-█. SCP-XXXX 's noticeable anomalous qualities were discovered when Officer ████ █████ opened the entity and was able to read it, despite only speaking French and Italian. Class A amnesics were administered on French authorities.

Addendum XXXX.01: On ██/██/████ a humanoid male appeared in SCP-XXXX 's containment cell. The subject referred to himself as "Julian ██████" and claimed to be the head of a division of the British secret service. An interview was conducted:

Addendum XXXX.02-a: Julian ██████ has recovered and refuses to cooperate with Foundation personnel. Due to the potential danger of further transported entities causing a containment breach, a request for reclassification as Euclid is under review.

Addendum XXXX.02-b: Request to reclassify SCP-XXXX under Euclid designation granted.

Addendum XXXX.03-a: Following the discovery of SCP-XXXX 's trans-dimensional properties, multiple expeditions into SCP-XXXX-Omega have been planned and acted out.

Addendum XXXX.03-b: Locations SCP-XXXX transports the user to, inside SCP-XXXX-Omega, appear to not be random but dependent on seasons. Seasonal correspondence with arrival locations are as follows:
Spring; Hamburg, Summer; Toronto, Autumn; London, Winter; Barcelona.
All staff involved in testing should note that there is no exact date when this change in location occurs, for this reason, testing during the transition periods of seasons is discouraged.

Addendum XXXX.04-a: On ██/██/████, 10 humanoid entities (later confirmed to be ██████ █████████ ██████████) manifested in SCP-XXXX 's containment cell holding [REDACTED]. They quickly broke out of the cell after ███ ████ demanifested, causing a containment breach. They proceeded to methodically continue down the halls of the facility, attacking all armed personnel. MTF units were called to the ██████ sector of Site-██-█, the intruders were quickly cut off from other sectors of the facility. Camera footage shows the intruders unknowingly breaching ██████ ██████'s containment, upon which they were subsequently [REDACTED] after he was able to [REDACTED] shouting that they were "███████ ███████████ █████". The remaining intruders were captured by MTF units, ██████ ██████ was recontained without incident.

Due to SCP-XXXX 's ability to transport seemingly unlimited numbers of skilled aggressive opponents to its containment cell, possibly being able to materialise entire armies in Site-██-█, a request for transfer to Site-77 and reclassification as Keter is under review.

Addendum XXXX.04-b: Request for transport of SCP-XXXX to Site-77 granted, reclassification as Keter granted, but to be temporary until suitable containment methods are found.

Addendum XXXX.05-a: Following the improved cooperation of Captain Reed and James Howler's improved mental state, an investigation is ongoing to determine what exact scenario allowed the incident on ██/██/████ (Henceforth referred to as incident-XXXX.04) to occur and why no further incursions have taken place.

Addendum XXXX.05-b: Investigation concluded, SCP-2786 discovered to be the opportunity that allowed a containment breach, after pages of SCP-XXXX were found to talk about a 'hero' which had previously not been present. Alongside subsequent questioning of Captain Jacques Reed on SCP-2786's properties, of which he knew almost all. Following the entity's containment all trace of the 'hero' from SCP-XXXX vanished, a request to restore SCP-XXXX 's Euclid classification is under review alongside a further request to ease censorship of Addendum.XXXX.04-a.

Addendum.XXXX.05-c: Reclassification of SCP-XXXX to its previous Euclid designation granted. Declassification of Addendum.XXXX.04-a denied.
Note: I'd rather not give our 'hero' step by step instructions on how to raise an army inside one of our facilities again, lest he breaches containment. - O5-██
