Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX Is to be contained in a 13cm X 23cm box made from wood. SCP-XXXX normally eats small craft supplies and ink, but can eat small portions of meat as well. 7 beads are to be placed in the box weekly. Any personnel must only stay at the box for up to 5 minutes. Cleaning of the box is not required, as SCP-XXXX does not produce any waste.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a small white sculpture of a mammalian creature wearing a mask. The mask is removable, but causes severe distress in SCP-XXXX when attempts are made to remove it. Although it can move and contort itself as if the clay was still soft, SCP-XXXX has the texture of baked clay, and the shape always seems to revert back to its original form after 30 minutes. SCP-XXXX is sapient and can communicate fluently in English.

Any humans or humanoid beings that spend more than 8 minutes near SCP-XXXX will have an obligation to remove the mask. When the mask is removed, the being who removed it will slowly dissolve into paint, but the process usually starts with the insides, and it takes approximately 5 hours for the process to be completed. SCP-XXXX has a liking twoards acrylic paint, and will hesitantly use the paint on itself. When confronted in a dangerous situation, SCP-XXXX will remove its mask and blast a white substance on anything around it. If the substance touches a humanoid, similar effects of removing the mask off of SCP-XXXX will start, but stop once the legs have been partially dissolved. Only two attacks have happened, both when two children, around age 10-12 had made an attempted to smash the sculpture.

Although SCP-XXXX does use the paint from a dissolved being, it will normally contort itself to hide the mask and its face. It has a dislike of humans and humanoids, and will run when confronted by one.
