Special Containment Procedures: Personnel with fear of heights should not enter SCP-4407. In case of any SCP-4407-3 escaping SCP-4407, 2 security guards have to be called, and the escaped entity have to be put to sleep and transported back to SCP-4407-2.
Description: SCP-4407 is a door from ebony wood which when set into any frame and opened, leads to a flying island which measures roughly 4.3 km². To this island will be from now on referred as SCP-4407-2.
Flora of SCP-4407-2 consists of:
Around 3.5m high trees with blue leaves and twisted trunk. They also grow big yellow round fruits, which are extremely sweet and soft.
Dark green grass which grows to height of 20 cm.
To fauna of SCP-4407-2 is referred to as SCP-4407-3(A-E) and each species still has to be named individually. Consists of:
SCP-4407-3-A A snake-like creature with 3 pairs of leather wings. Grows to 3 m and has a small mouth with lots of teeth. Attacks fast from sky and eats SCP-4407-3-B. Seems to be nesting under the cliff of the island.
SCP-4407-3-B This species is the most widespread. It looks almost like Jaculus orientalis, but with bigger ear and its light pastel pink. Feeds on fallen fruits of the trees.
SCP-4407-3-C Looks like a brown Bos primigenius f. taurus, but the horns are long and they connect, making a big ring on their heads.
SCP-4407-3-D This species is just Panthera leo with an opal colour
SCP-4407-3-E The carapace of this crab-like, four legged, lake creature is hard and covered in crystals which seem to grow there.
SCP-4407 was discovered 5/23 2001 in western Kenya.
Addendum 1: In 8/12 2001 was a D subject attached to a rope and lowered over the cliff to the depth of 11km. the ground was not in sight.
Addendum 2: 1/18 2002 ruins of a city were discovered in the back of the island. It is full of human-like skeletons.
A wooden cabin was discovered hidden in forest near the ruins. An old man, apparently survivor, lives there. He is calling himself Ascal. when he took an IQ test the result was 196. This is an interview log with him.

Dr. Coleman: Hello Mr. .. urm.. Ascal
Ascal: Greetings doctor.
Dr. Coleman: I would like to know what happened to all the people and the city, if i may.
Ascal: You may know it, doctor. Long ago there were more islands flying in the sky. But something happened and a war began between the islands. It was long and exhausting. I was born when the war was already in progress. All other island had fallen down into the abyss, and only two had left. we managed to defeat the other one but they dropped a capsule with a deadly illness in it, that killed most people and species on the island. Only few were immune like me.
Dr. Coleman: And what happened to them?
Ascal: They died of old age.
** Dr. Coleman:** You mentioned the islands were having a war between themselves. Is there any way to control the island's flight?
Ascal: There probably is but its long forgotten and i don't know it. Also yes there is a chance there are more islands.
Dr. Coleman: Excuse me, did you just read my mind?
Ascal: No, i didn't doctor, i just guessed your nex question. It has been pretty obvious that you want to ask that.
Dr. Coleman: Alright, I guess that's all we have time for and i've got to go. Bye Mr. Ascal.
Ascal: Till the next time, doctor.
