Item #: SCP-5063

Object Class: N/A

Special Containment Procedures: [SCP-5063 is uncontained, and will always be uncontained, because it cannot exist. Bold text refers to impossible containment procedures that cannot exist because SCP-5063 cannot exist. SCP-5063 can be entered through a 2-meter-large dimensional rift found at Site-██, designated SCP-5063-2. SCP-5063-2 is contained in a 6 by 6 by 6 meter room outfitted with simple steel walls and a single door, accessible only by Level-3 personnel and up. The room was constructed shortly after SCP-5063-2 appeared on ██/██/████, and requires one guard on duty at all times, although attempts to enter the room without authorization are rare.]

Description: [There is no description for SCP-5063 because it cannot exist. SCP-5063 is an alternate dimension with an atmosphere identical to Earth's. The dimension has no recorded length, but is assumed to be infinite as attempts to travel long distances across it have only resulted in finding the same bleak land found in the instantly accessible area found when entering SCP-5063-2. The land appears to be made completely of sand, but tests have found that it is not made of single grains, but rather one extremely large substance. The dimension appears to have a sun similar to Earth's, but no discernible moon as the dimension is constantly in a state of "daytime." The dimension retains a normal temperature of 65 degrees Fahrenheit, and has no other significant geographical or climatic aspects.

SCP-5063 appears to be completely inhabited by human organisms designated as SCP-5063-X. Instances of SCP-5063-X appear to be of all different sizes, ethnicities, and ages, although they do not appear to age after appearing, and they all share a lack of mouths. No indents are found in the jaw or face where the mouth should be found. Instances display organic functions similar to that of any normal human, except for lacking the necessity for sustenance of any kind in order to live and zero neural activity. Attempts to trigger signals of pain or other common neural activities have proved impossible. Instances stand in various positions, although they noticeably all face the same direction, which has been noted to change occasionally, but never while Foundation personnel are present. Instances appear at random, but never disappear. Several Foundation personnel have been discovered as instances of SCP-5063-X, most notably including Senior Researcher [REDACTED] and several agents and D-Class personnel. The connections between these personnel are unclear.

Any object or organism small enough to fit into SCP-5063-2 can be taken through or thrown through. Attempts to fit larger objects into the rift have simply proved impossible.

The only way to document any aspects of SCP-5063 aside from its designation is by writing in bold. Any other attempts to write have resulted in the personnel writing the log to suddenly believe that the SCP cannot exist. The reason for this is currently unknown, but can hopefully be altered at some point, because speaking about the anomaly is impossible. Footage taken of the anomaly disappears from the memory of the device used to record it. Audio logs are accepted, provided that the speaker does not directly refer to the SCP by name during the recording of it.]
