Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5120 is to be contained in a 20cm x 20cm x 20cm airtight cube made from Tantalum. Tantalum's near-immunity to corrosion damage makes it one of the only elements capable of containing SCP-5120.

Description: SCP-5120 is a highly corrosive recreation of Carborane Acid (1 million times more potent than concentrated Sulfuric Acid) that when exposed to a large mass of water, becomes partially sentient. SCP-5120 will immediately form itself into an 8cm solid sphere, only returning to it's liquid form when the water has completely disappeared.

within 5 minutes of the sphere forming, the water it is in contact with will slowly drain, and an ice storm will materialize in a 20 mile radius around SCP-5120. The ice crystals from this storm are made of C₁₇H₂₁NO₄, which is the molecular compound for cocaine (here on known as SCP-5120-1). Similar to recreational cocaine, SCP-5120-1 is a heavy nervous system stimulant that causes increased motor activity, energy, alertness, euphoria, ETC.

The prime differences however, are that SCP-5120-1 has been recorded as up to 16 times stronger than recreational cocaine, and as soon as the substance makes contact with the ground, a thin layer freezes over while the rest becomes an aerosol like substance that can linger in the air for up to five hours before dissipating.

Due to the nature of SCP-5120's existence, on orders of the O5 Council, it is not allowed to be used for testing of any sort.
