SCP 8010 is contained in a 500 sq ft. room with a bookshelf carrying 40 books for the anomaly’s leisure. The room must be kept at a constant temperature of 80° F to maintain an environment in which 8010 cannot mutate. 8010 can not be allowed within 3 meters of a living organism. If 8010 is to attempt to breach its containment, then it should be negotiated with to re enter its containment unit and sedated.
Description:
SCP 8010 is a 5'9 presumably male humanoid of undetermined race and age, bearing severe burns and scars enveloping its body to the point where the skin is a shade of deep red and in various stages of gangrenous decay, but this does not hinder its bodily movements or ability to speak fluently. Whenever feeling threatened or fearful, SCP 8010 will protract 1 in. claws and attack with random swinging and will attempt to bite its assailant. When a living organism comes in direct contact with any form of 8010’s bodily matter, their body will enter the first stage of infection. Even though it does not typically go out of its way to bring harm to others, this doesn't prevent it from frequently attempting to breach containment (See addendum). 8010’s top known running speed is 76 mph and it has shown the ability to jump at least fifteen meters with little effort. It has also shown immunities to various strains of disease and poisons that would be highly effective towards a majority of similar organisms, such as 8011. In order to further understand what 8010 is capable of, further testing is required.
STAGES OF INFECTION BY SCP 8010
STAGE 1: The victim reports headaches, nausea, and extreme abdominal pain.
STAGE 2: Lethargy, Anemia, unusually high body temperature.
STAGE 3: Tumors develop inside the body, necrotizing fasciitis sets in.
STAGE 4: The victim becomes EXTREMELY contagious upon death.
DO NOT INTERACT WITH AN INFECTED ORGANISM.
REPORT IT TO THE PROPER AUTHORITIES.
Addendum:
Discovery and Capture of 8010
A 911 call is logged at 10:30 am, Monday, October 22nd in Boulder, Colorado reporting 8010’s existence.
Dispatcher: 911, what is your emergency?
Caller: Oh god, there’s a zombie outside of my house! It’s going to kill me!
Dispatcher: Maam, please calm down, did you say a zombie?
Caller: Yes, a zombie, it’s at my door oh god, oh god, I’m going to die!
(At this point, several knocks can be heard.)
8010: Is anyone in there?
Caller: (screams)
Dispatcher: Hello, maam? Police are on their way, stay away from danger!
(Several minutes later and police sirens can be heard in the distance)
(30 seconds later and muffled voices and two gunshots can be heard)
(Officer: Oh god! (A thud can be heard, presumably the officers body)
(Three days later, a MTF Beta 7 troop led by Captain Jones capture 8010 walking along the Bald Mountain hiking trail. The interaction with 8010, fortunately, resulted in no deaths or injuries. 8010 is transported to Site 12 in Dallas, TX.)
Containment Breach Log One
January 5th, 2019, 10:30 pm
Cause of Breach: Room temperature drops to 65 °F

8010 undergoes rapid mitosis, causing its body to gain 20% more mass in less than 30 seconds.
10:31 pm
At this point, 8010, breaks through the door, gaining more mass by the second. Guards fire on 8010, to no avail. 8010 wraps its tail around one guards neck, and decapitates the other.
10:33 pm
8010 makes its way down the hallway. At this point, its size becomes an issue and it struggles to move down the hallway. The breach alarm sounds.

The guard dies of blood loss, is dropped to the ground, and enters the 4th stage of infection.
10:35 pm
At this point, 8010 has gained 160% of its original mass and has finally stopped growing. 8010 experiences rapid cell death and is seen reforming on the other side of the wall of dead matter. 8010 runs down down the other side of the hallway, opens the door, and is promptly recontained by a Beta 7 troop.
After incident 8010-A, 8010 was moved to heavy containment.
