Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is always to be kept by a reliable lit source. Every Five (5) months, Two (2) D-Class personnel will have to replace the light bulb. SCP-XXXX is to be kept inside a 4m x 4m x 4m container with 30cm thick slate stone tile walls with only one light source. The room must be guarded with no less than two (2) armed level 2 personnel.
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a medium, amorphous mass, dark of what is presumably slime, weighing 9 kg (20 Ibs), has horns shaped like those of a Budorcas taxicolor, also known as a Takin, and has bright glowing eyes. One red (right) and the other being blue (left). The Subject is described to be made up of [REDACTED] by the creator ██████████ █████ who is now detained in Site ██.
SCP-XXXX is known, at this current time, to only say "Seymour," as if it is the subject's name, saying it in different tones as of emotion. Upon further experiments, "Seymour" can be translated with a simple translator. Depending on the Subject's emotion, whether that be sadness or anger, the surface of SCP-XXXX would change temperature, whether that be a burning feeling (roughly around 45° Celsius) or a frigid feeling (roughly around 10° Celsius). One experiment resulted in the [DATA EXPUNGED] of D-████'s right arm. Regardless of the temperature of the subject's "skin," it will not affect those of slate material.
Through various exposure testing (see Log of test on SCP-XXXX), we can confirm that the subject does not haul much light energy, as it gets aggressive and/or timid and remains in what dark is left (if any). SCP-XXXX is known to be quite hostile when it comes to too much light exposure.
From the interview with ██████████ █████, (see Interview-1) we can confirm that SCP-XXXX would need to trust personnel, by this time is unsuccessful, if wanted to be handled.
Log of test on SCP-XXXX:
Participants: 2 D-Class Personnel
Location: SCP-XXXX Containment cell
Test parameters: D-1 was instructed to stand under the light and switch it to a light bulb with 1500 lumens and D-2 was instructed to keep a close eye on SCP-XXXX.
Result: As D-1 inserts the 1500 lumen light bulb, SCP-XXXX hides in what little darkness it can in the corners.
Participants: 1 D-Class Personnel
Location: SCP-XXXX Containment cell
Test parameters: D-1 is instructed to stand close to SCP-XXXX while researchers give a countdown to turning on a spotlight.
Result: As the spotlight shines on SCP-XXXX, the subject instantaneously latches onto D-1's face in the process of [REDACTED] D-1.
Participants: 4 D-Class Personnel
Location: SCP-XXXX Containment cell
Test parameters: D-1, D-2, D-3, and D-4 were instructed to sit in each corner of the containment cell while researchers were given a countdown to turn on the spotlight.
Result: The spotlight was shined onto SCP-XXXX. The subject appeared shaking for a good 15-seconds then what seemed like sprinting to D-3, inserting itself inside D-3's jumpsuit, [REDACTED] D-3's chest area. D-1, D-2, and D-4 were shaken up after confirming that D-3 had expired.
Notes: Regarding from the first two tests, the subject seems to go for any place it could hide in away from light (that being clothing, or in some cases bodies). -Dr. ██████
