Special Containment Procedures: Object SCP-████ is to be stored in a 0.5m x 0.5m x 1m semi-opaque glass container at Site-63. No less than two persons may enter the containment room at any given time and must be supervised by at least a single Level 2 staff. As of 2019-02-██, all testing of SCP-████ is prohibited until further notice.
Description: SCP-████ SCP-████ has an appearance of a standard red candle measuring at 16cm in height at the start of each cycle and will burn at the average rate of 2.5cm/h. At the end of each cycle when SCP-████ burns out, it will return to its inactive state. In this state, SCP-████ will regenerate its wax base upwards for several hours until it reaches 16cm in height, after which SCP-████ will return to its active state for roughly 6 hours. Any attempts to extinguish the flame during SCP-████’s active state have failed, however igniting the candle during its inactive state will put it into its active state and will remain as such until the candle burns out and enter its inactive state.
Upon direct eye contact with the flame of SCP-████, subjects will begin to frantically hold onto the candle and show aggression towards all humans, animals, and objects that the subject believes to be sentient, but will remain psychologically active and follow commands given to them beforehand.
