A Free Mummy

Victoria wakes up and the usual happens; bright light from the nearby viewing room, a camera watching her from the distance, and a new set of books. She stands up, flicking the lights on and brightness overwhelms her eyes, making her look away. "Good morning SCP-5813" said the doctor. "Good morning Doctor" responds Victoria as she sits on the chair. A collection of black books lay on the top shelf and Victoria uses her abilities like usual to grab the book. The bandage twists and turns to move a book, and Victoria begins reading the book, The Hunger Games. For an hour, Victoria showed excitement and interest on the book. The Doctor and another colleague watches her before meeting a 'Gunman' which she describes to every Security and Mobile Task Force. The Doctor leaves the viewing room and Victoria continues reading. By the time she reaches Chapter 9, a blaring alarm is sounded and she drops her book. She looks around absent minded, trying to look for her book before giving up like usual. She thinks about herself, "Why am I here? Why can't I be normal? Why can't I be like other girls?" Victoria thinks. A Security Guard enters the room, breaking the sad, philosophical vibe Victoria is experiencing. "Lockdown Protocols, please head to your bed SCP-5813". Victoria nods; she likes to explore, but she's too dangerous to go out so the protocols are fair enough. She gets strapped into her bed by the cranial strap around the bed and the Security Guard sedates her. Victoria's vision becomes blurry and blurrier, before falling asleep. After 1 hour, an explosion echoes through the halls and Victoria wakes up, accompanied by the emergency lights flashing at her face. Victoria's curiosity overwhelms her, and she attempts to breaks out of the cranial strap. Shouts and gunshots were heard, followed by the sound of footsteps rumbling closer to Victoria's containment chamber. Victoria calls out for them, and a footstep becomes louder, accompanied by the sound of someone breathing through a hollow gas mask. Victoria calls out again, and a person with a mask towers over her. The strap immediately breaks lose, as a knife cuts through it, and Victoria sits up. "Come" the person signaled to Victoria. She begins following the intimidating man as he leads her into a group of more masked intimidating men. "I assume she's SCP-5813" a man with the red bandana around his head. The other guys nod, and Victoria feels a little uneasiness with them, but plans to follow them. "I'll get her out of the facility, you guys begin assaulting the C Sector." The red bandana masked guy says. The rest of the men nod, and begin moving deeper into the halls. Victoria follows the red bandana man as he leads her into a blown up wall, followed by a dark ominous tunnel. Victoria hesitates, and looks at the red bandana man. "Keep going through the tunnel, you'll meet a group of black masked people that'll help you. I got work to do, also, try keeping your distance with any females alright?" Said the red bandana man. Victoria nods, this might be her escape to freedom. She began sprinting through the tunnel, dodging the sharp rocks on the floor and multiple dynamites laying on the floor. She thought to herself "I can come back anytime, say hello to them, they'll understand, these men are with them right?". Victoria makes it to the end of the tunnel, and a few men wave their hands, getting her attention. She makes it through the tunnel, and sees the outer world, filled with grass, trees, and beautiful skies. She never knew grass would be this beautiful nor the trees and how they breeze at the wind.
