Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a specially outfitted humanoid observation/detention cell at all times. This cell is to maintain the appearance of a newly wed couple’s living space. If the anomaly is ever observed to be resting or sleeping, alarms should be triggered within it’s cell to deter this process; afterwhich, and at least once a day, a D-class operative is to enter the observation cell and engage in various activities ranging from small talk to board games. The following is a list of actions one should never take in regards to socializing with the anomaly:
Do not accept food items or other gifts from the anomaly- even food originally provided by the Foundation.
Do not enter into any agreements with the anomaly.
Do not participate in oral, vaginal, anal, or otherwise sexual intercourse or activity with the anomaly.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an androgynous humanoid, standing at 1.35 meters tall with no visible facial features. This appearance is only assumed when SCP-XXXX is under remote observation without any other individuals in the immediate area. When in the presence of one or more sentient lifeforms SCP-XXXX takes on new form, that of a human being, but everything from gender, age, height and weight vary. It is not yet known how or why SCP-XXXX takes on these forms or how what form it will take is decided. What is known is that regardless of form SCP-XXXX will attempt to solicit those it interacts with into an intimate relationship. It is imperative that this solicitation is only humored and never indulged upon.
When deprived of social interaction, or unhappy with the interaction provided, SCP-XXXX will sing itself a lullaby, those who hear it are advised not to listen by any means necessary. Below is a transcription of the lullaby. After singing it will then attempt to sleep, if permitted to do so, it may even sleep for days at a time. This should never be permitted as upon SCP-XXXX sleeping, it is known to visit foundation members and other seemingly random individuals in their dreams in order to seduce and infect them, this does not seem to occur so widely if it is properly socialized and it’s handler remains in good standing with it, then only appearing to said handler who is trained for such interaction.
Those who hear the lullaby in full are known to, upon the next time they sleep or rest, go into an unresponsive state wherein they attempt by any means to end their own life, seemingly with no regard for factors such as pain or effort taken. Should anyone find it too tempting to listen, report to your superior for secondary containment procedures.
Secondary Containment Procedures: The subject is to be taken immediately to a holding cell. Do not delay as SCP-XXXX’s song is known to induce bouts of narcolepsy even in subjects with no history of such disorder. The subject is to be strapped down and gagged as to prevent them from freely roaming the cell or harming themselves. The subject is then to be given headphones that are to play a pulsing alarm at no less than 95 decimals to facilitate waking. Next, an operative must stay to observe the subject (while safely behind a one way mirror). Once the subject’s vital signs indicate he or she has undergone REM sleep the subject may be released.
It should be noted that it isn’t unheard of for individuals under secondary containment, even when all steps herein are adhered to, to simply hold their breath until they undergo brain death, if this is observed, assisted breathing apparatuses are to be deployed as needed.
Should this containment fail, the subject’s loved ones are to be screened and treated similarly as this effect appears to be contagious as a retroactive anomalous STD herein refered to as “infection”, taking the lives of any with whom the infected subject has had sexual relations.
Addendum SCP-XXXX.01A Following Incident XXXX.01, All operatives to directly interact with SCP-XXXX are to be screened. It is believed that individuals whom have lost loved ones to suicide are uniquely suseptable to SCP-XXXX’s advances, as observed when Agent Hayden ██████ entered it’s cell for rutine socialization. According to agent Hayden ██████ the entity took the form of his high school sweetheart, a troubled girl who had ended her own life before finishing secondary school. Provided is a log of their initial interaction.
Following this, SCP-XXXX was in clear distress and suicide rates skyrocketed within the population over the next week, one such victim was C-8087. This is not believed to be a coincidence. Agent ██████ is asked to return to SCP-XXXX, this time in it’s main holding cell and is ordered to avoid the subject of Milie’s death or anything else that may upset the entity. The entity seemingly has forgotten their previous altercation, greeting the agent excitedly with an embrace.
The entity regards the agent not just as a potential mate as it does with all who directly interact with it, but as if the two were already mated, going as far as to insist on discussing things such as baby names, honeymoons, sexual fantasies, and even recollections of he and the real Millie’s time together etc. The agent is advised to acquiesce to appease the entity.
More strange deaths occur and agent ██████ later admits to skipping various socialization sessions to which he was assigned citing the duty as “unfair” and “creepy” he was reprimanded and continued his duties thereafter.
It soon became clear that this was a mistake as what began as placcating SCP-XXXX became increasing infatuation with the being, he insisted that this was his “Millie” returned to him. He was soon relieved from socialization duty permanently and observed, albeit for a brief time, to evaluate any lasting psychological damage. He was eventually cleared to return to work- just not to work with SCP-XXXX.
Shortly thereafter, the Agent who had replaced agent ██████ would be found indisposed, his coffee drugged, and agent ██████ would be found within SCP-XXXX’s cell, in the entity’s bed, deceased.
Upon review of the security footage, it was found that the two had clearly had sexual relations. It is unclear even upon review of the footage how agent ██████ died. Seven months hence this interaction, SCP-XXXX birthed an entity later classified as SCP-████.
