Description: SCP-XXXX is a surgical process by which the frontal bone in the human¹ skull may be extended into a "curtain" over the face. Facial features (nose, eyes, mouth, etc.) are entirely obscured by this formation, but not directly modified. Victims do not appear significantly impaired by this procedure.

SCP-XXXX was discovered following a rash of deaths of cognitohazardous origin in western Ohio. The anomalous materials were traced to a printing works in Dayton, which at the time had been producing cognitohazard-laced versions of popular magazines, books, and other print materials.
