Special Containment Procedures: SCP-X is to be contained in standard Storage Locker-4B on Storage Site-64. Routine inspections of the pages of SCP-X should be conducted annually for the chance of anamlous activity.
Description: SCP-X is a copy of Footrot Flats™ Gallery 2 authored by Zew Zealand cartoonist Murray Ball. The item in question once contained an anomaly in the form of a 17 year-old teenager named John Hooper. John existed solely in the comic book, but was quantum locked in such a way that he could only become animate when out of any line of sight. John was capable of interfering with the text bubbles within the book, and would use them as a primary means of communication. He was also able to hear and understand speech directed at the book.
It is speculated that the teenager was confined to the pages of SCP-X by a reality bender of unknown description, the only information available being the name Athena. It is believed the reality bender did this as a means of revenge against John's father, Donald Hooper, a retired Unusual Incidents Unit operative.
When in the book, John seemingly aged a certain amount of time every time the book was opened. He eventually expired, estimates of his age at the time being from 50 to 94. After his death, the book was restored to a non-anomalous state, never exhibiting any such activity since.
Recovery: SCP-X was discovered in a home in ████████, New Zealand, on 23/██/20██. An embedded agent in the local police force encountered SCP-X when a Mr. Donald Hooper was reported to be causing a disturbance at a local police station, insisting that his son was trapped in graphic novel. The agent got in touch with Mr. Hooper, confirming the item was indeed anomalous when communication was made between the agent and John, and the agent secured SCP-X.
Containment Class:
euclid
Special Containment Procedures: The singular entrance to SCP-X is to be cordoned off from the general public. The entrance is to be monitored daily, and a minimum of two security personnel are to be hidden nearby.
It is forbidden to enter SCP-X until such a time as instances of SCP-X-1 can be successfully terminated.
Containment Class:
euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-X is contained in a 7 x 18 x 12 meter tank filled with salt water. All walls of the containment tank are frosted with etching glass in order to maintain opaqueness in the glass. SCP-X must be fed 2 kg of raw shark meat daily; no more than 2 personnel are to carry out feeding protocols.
Any additional instances of SCP-X are to be reported, and MTF Gamma-6 ("Deep Feeders") are to be dispatched, with orders to terminate any instances encountered.
Figure X-A: SCP-X upon displaying anomalous effects, and in an inactive state.
Description: SCP-X is a designation given to an oversized parasitic lamprey superficially resembling the Petromyzon marinus (Sea Lamprey). It is approximately 8 meters long, and is roughly four times the size of a standard sea lamprey.
When SCP-X is directly observed, subjects fall into a catatonic state; at this time no subjects have been observed to recover from this affliction. Following incapacitation, SCP-X will latch onto the subject with teeth arranged in circular patterns within its mouth and begin to parasitize the subject for blood.
Subjects present in the same body of water as SCP-X report "soft" ambient music throughout the enclosure. It is speculated that SCP-X uses this melody to attract prey closer when swimming, suggesting knowledge of human recreational activities.
Discovery: SCP-X was initially identified on 06/██/20██ close to the shoreline of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil by local authorities, feeding on the corpse of a child that had been reported missing three days prior. SCp-X successfully incapacitated two officers with its anomalous ability prior to returning to the ocean. Foundation personnel secured the bodies and administered amnestics to all involved in the incident. MTF Gamma-6 was deployed to retrieve SCP-X.
SCP-X resurfaced during a scouting mission by MTF Gamma-6 operatives and attempted to incapacitate Foundation agents, and was hastily tranquilized. Stanby operatives assisted in the effort, storing the incapacitated SCP-X in a containment unit similar in design to its current chamber. Following this, SCP-X was transferred to containment without incident.
Expeditions by MTF Gamma-6 continued briefly following capture of SCP-X in attempts to discover any additional instances, but were suspended indefinitely following Incident X-1.
Incident X-1: On 29/██/20██, an expedition by three MTF Gamma-6 operatives was derailed following an auditory anomaly within the water. An audiovisual transcript of the log is attached below.

- Dr. Nālani Kalea: Expedition Supervisor
- Agent Emmanuel Wolfe: Expedition squad leader.
- 4 Squad Members, denoted by shorthand (eg. G6-1)

G6-3: We've been launching expeditions out here for goddamn ages and seen nothing but eels and a couple schools of pirahna. Why are we down here?
Agent Wolfe: Patience, Freeman. We got orders to follow. Now keep your eyes peeled and your weapons ready. We have moments to act if others exist.

Containment Protocols: SCP-X-1 and -2 are both contained within an air-tight vacuum sealed Humanoid Containment Cell in Research Sector-25 at Site-096, and are to be provided numerous pieces of literature and silent film, rotated monthly. Any additional requests by either SCP-X-1 or -2 must be approved by Site Director Thomas Ridge.
SCP-X-2 is to be tutored weekly in sign language, and English and German writing in order to improve communication capabilities.
Figure 324-A: SCP-324-1 upon discovery by Foundation Forces on 18/██/19██.
Description: SCP-X is the collective designation of two anomalous humanoids, each designated respectively SCP-324-1 and SCP-324-2. Both humanoids appear to be composed entirely of a matter similar to smoke, yet maintain a physical presence, enabling them to wear clothes and interact with objects. Both instances are capable of manipulating their shape and moving as a cloud of smoke. Generally, they prefer maintaining a humanoid presentation.
Both SCP-X-1 and -2 retain their consciousness and physical shape from before manifestation of anomalous abilities.
SCP-X-1 stands at 1.85 m tall. Formerly known as Emmerich Henning, SCP-X-1 was a former Nazi Party inspekteur. From diaries kept by SCP-X-1 during his travels with SCP-X-2, it has been concluded that SCP-X-1 orchestrated an escape from the Sachsenhausen concentration camp following a change of heart, but was later captured by Nazi forces. Of the anomalies, SCP-X-1 is the only one capable of cognitive speech, and acts primarily as a dignitary for the two.
SCP-X-2 stands at 1.23 m tall. Formerly known only as "Alek", SCP-X-2 was a Jewish prisoner of the Sachsenhausen concentration camp. Following SCP-X-1's attempted liberation of the camp, SCP-X-2 was also apprehended by Nazi forces. SCP-X-2 lacks communication capabilities, but is the most experienced of the two in its anomalous capabilities. With the addition of afofementioned abilities, SCP-X-2 also possesses capabilities of telekinesis, and a unique invisibility ability, in which it dissipates at a microscopic level, effectively occupying an entire room without being seen. During this state, SCP-X-2 somehow switches between its physical presence and intangibility. Teleportation is also an observed trait, as SCP-X-2 reassembles its physical appearance from its normal state in to another position.
Discovery: SCP-X-1 and -2 were discovered by Foundation forces during a raid of an abandoned Nazi bunker in Mittleberg, Austria. During the raid, both SCP-X-1 and -2 were found conducting investigation of the abandoned bunker. When confronted, SCP-X-1 verbally communicated with personnel, insisting that both it and SCP-X-2 would come peacefully, additionally requesting to gather its journals before leaving. It was further discovered that the two had been living in the bunker for merely week.
