Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be placed in the center of a 20m3 containment cell, and placed on a pedestal of 10m in height. The entity is to be placed in the center of the cell, as to ensure it's area of effect (10m in radius) doesn't effect the walls of the cell. No personnel are to enter it's cell, unless given written permission of the Site Director, or Senior researcher. Scranton Reality Anchors are not needed due to the effect of SCP-XXXX reality bending not being inherently harmful to any object/s outside the 10m radius.
Description:
SCP-XXXX in it's current state, is a statue of a human female, in a cross-legged sit. It is not known what material SCP-XXXX is made of, as it changes it's composition of itself and surroundings. These changes, or effects, are activated based off of what it perceives to be the current state of humanity. Hume levels vary depending on how drastic the changes are, though SCP-XXXX seems to shape reality to communicate ideas. (See Addendum SCP-XXXX-2 for examples of this effect)
There has been no recorded evidence of SCP-XXXX having the capability to move, however it can make other objects move within it's effective radius. How SCP-XXXX knows of global events outside the facility is unknown, but it does seem to have knowledge of the past and present.
Addendum SCP-XXXX-1:
SCP-XXXX was found by foundation personnel in 200█, due to the local Yoruba tribesmen alerted the Nigerian authorities of repeated lightning strikes at the peak of Chappal Waddi. The local shamans have said to be using SCP-XXXX to read omens sent by their gods. The shamans seemed to know of global events, despite not having any local news outlet in the surrounding area.
Addendum SCP-XXXX-2:
For a period of about 10 years after initial containment, sand began to fill the containment cell, and the temperature of the room raised to 34°C. After analysis, onsite biologists confirmed that the sand was sterile, and not possible in any way to grow flora. When viewed, SCP-XXXX began to form a thin carbon layer, resembling a burnt version of itself.
After this 10 year period, SCP-XXXX turned the surrounding sand back into soil, however, the entity made itself turn into a lightly colored wood, later sampling data revealed it to be white oak, and saplings started to grow out of the ground at a rate of 3cm/s. These trees have been identified to be Olea europaea, commonly referred to be olive trees. The trees immediately began to bear fruit, and stopped growing until the trees reached the top of it's containment cell.
Addendum SCP-XXXX-3:
Currently, as of February, 201█, The statue has completely enveloped itself in a sphere of salt water. In the sphere, various species of fish can be seen performing their natural functions, and large articles of plastic products such as foam plates, six-pack rings, and straws can be seen floating towards the top of the sphere. SCP-XXXX seems to be alluding to the over pollution in the Pacific ocean. Personnel and research teams have been sent to the mass of plastic near the state of Hawaii, commonly known as "The Great Pacific Garbage Patch", and have concluded that the mass seems to be growing at an alarming rate.
