Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5234 is to be secured in a standard humanoid containment cell with a security camera present in SCP-5234's cell. SCP-5234 is permitted to request items such as books, along with any form of writing implement and new notebooks. These items are to be given to SCP-5234 with approval of site head. Any interactions with SCP-5234 that must be in person are required to be done by guards equipped with simple video based headsets using camera
Description: SCP-5234 is a humanoid figure that when viewed through a camera or video appears to be a Caucasian Male, brown hair and a neatly trimmed beard. When SCP-5234 is viewed in person with no camera interference SCP-5234 appears as a silhouette with almost no distinguishable features. If communication is attempted with SCP-5234 while viewing directly it appears that SCP-5234 growls and generally acts in a harsh, animalistic manner, however it does not appear to attempt any form of contact, preferring to stay at a distance.
However, when SCP-5234 is contacted via radio or is recorded using microphones the entity appears and sounds like an average human, when questioned about why this occurs SCP-5234 replies that he knows "just as much as you." Any attempt to get SCP-5234 to expand upon this has resulted in a seemingly meaningless conversation about "auras".
SCP-5234 also claims to be an average African American and goes by the name "Tobias", this has led researchers to believe the appearance altering effects also have an effect on cameras and none of the attempts to see any other form has been successful. SCP-5234 seems content staying in foundation custody and because of this has been allowed minimal security procedures and most that are in place are to protect others.
When D-Class personnel are exposed to SCP-5234 most of the tested personnel react with immense fear and request to be released from the testing chamber as soon as possible.

Dr. ██████: Identify yourself please.
SCP-5234: My name is Tobias. You like to call me "5234".
Dr. ██████: Good, could you explain to me as to why that D-Class reacted the way he did?
SCP-5234: I honestly don't know, trust me, you know more than me. All I did was try to have a conversation. I just want a friend. Subject begins to cry softly.
Dr. ██████: Okay, that will do for today, thank you. You may now return to your cell.

Closing Statement: SCP-5234 was then returned to it's cell without saying anything else and without making contact with any other foundation staff.
