Reverse oblivion

Elevator Pitch
A black space that removes all records of whatever object enters it from existence. People forget, papers are wiped leaving blank areas and audio tapes get silent/static segments. If an object exits the hole, individuals with former memories of it won't recognize it. An object's own records/memories of itself are unaffected.

A mirror with pass-through glass transporting anyone entering it into another location as another individual. "Your ideal true self" is written on its frame. The mirror is absent in the newfound location, stranding entrants.

Central Narrative
A researcher who likes scuba diving enters the mirror to report events within, ending up a clownfish undersea.
A D-class entering ends up a sponge undersea.
