Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4507 is to be kept locked in a 20ft by 20ft secured storage locker in Research Sector-13 when not in use. A standard 40ft by 40ft containment chamber is to be used to contain the locker. Activation of SCP-4507 is only to be initiated during testing under the supervision of a level 3 researcher. Please see Document 4507-C for extensive information on standard testing procedure.
Description: SCP-4507 is a Rubik'sTM 3x3 Rubik’s Cube. SCP-4507 cannot destroyed be any means. SCP-4507's anomalous effects start when a human moving faster than .01 mph comes within 20 ft of SCP-4507:
- SCP-4507 will “scramble” itself by turning on its axis' multiple times.
- The human (now SCP-4507-1) will separate into [REDACTED] squares while still retaining physical humanoid shape.
- SCP-4507-1 will start to “scramble” SCP-4507
- Once SCP-4507-1 has been turned, in 30 minutes changes will become permanent and cause severe lacerations where their body had been separated.
- The 20 ft radius around SCP-4507 will become invulnerable to all things including humans and SCP-4507-1.
This process has been painless on all test subjects, but 60% of test subjects have psychological disorders if they survive. Completion of SCP-4507 has a 3.46% chance becuase of limbs used to solve SCP-4507 are in unusable places. In the event of SCP-4507-1 succeeding, their body will be returned to normal, and when within the radius of SCP-4507 again, no anomalous effects occur.
Addendum 4507-1: Discovery
SCP-4507 was discovered in a 2006 raid of a Toys R’ Us that was home to PoI-3246, a confirmed reality bender. PoI-3246 was captured along with 16 other anomalous items.

Foreword: D-6789 has just completed SCP-4507 and is diagnosed with PTSD.

Dr. Hughes: D-6789 please describe your experience during the test.
D-6789: DR. WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME? MY ARMS… I CAN STILL FEEL THE FEELING OF HAVING THEM IN MY EAR! WHY DOESN'T IT HURT!!!
At this point D-6789 jumps out of his seat and attempts to shatter the interrogation window. He is shot in the legs by a security guard and is forced back into his seat.Dr. Hughes D-6789 answer my questions or be terminated.
D-6789 YEAH… yeah alright… TERMINATE ME! DO IT! It would be nothing compared to what I felt and saw in that cursed chamber.
Dr. Hughes Alright then, we will terminate your daughter.
D-6789 Oh, so you've finally pulled out that card huh. Well fine. I'm going to [Unintelligible] soon anyway.
Dr. Hughes Did you hear anything during the test?
D-6789 Yeah. I guess you would want to know about [REDACTED]
D-6789 was terminated and Dr. Hughes was administered amnestics.[End Log]
