Special Containment Procedures:
everyone who is/will work with or monitoring SCP 5162 should always wear a radiation proof suit. The SCP should also be contained within lead bricks for radiation shielding. It must also be placed in a dessert habitat to mimic their natural habitats. It must have a diet of locusts, mealworms, and crickets.
Description:
SCP 5162 looks like a yellow, leopard spotted, pattern less, Gecko. The only difference being the fact that its head is a crow skull. SCP 5162 is nocturnal, weighs 500G, 3 CM wide, 30 CM long, about half of its length is its tail and its height is 1.5 CM.
SCP 5162 emits 770 rads of radiation per second and anyone within 20 meters of SCP 5162 must wear a protective radiation suit to avoid the effects of radiation poisoning. At night, SCP 5162’s skull has been known to spontaneously combust into flames for short periods of time, in which its radiation will increase to 1000 rads per second.
SCP 5162 is extremely friendly and must interacted with by a human at least 2 times per hour or else it will turn rabid; its skull will burst into flames and its radiation will increase to 1000 rads per second.
Discovery:
SCP 5162 was first discovered in the Gibson Desert in Australia after reports of locals catching a lizard with a flaming skull and many died due to radiation poisoning shortly after encountering it. The SCP was found in a small cave covered in sand and was taken to the foundation for protection.
