Special containment procedures: SCP-4168 is to be kept in a 5x5x2 meter containment cell. The walls are to have at least three inches of soundproof padding and personnel are to wear military grade noise canceling headphones so that they are minimized to the noise that SCP-4168 makes.
Description: SCP-4168 is a roughly humanoid shaped creature with a white face with curled horns coming out of its forehead. When agitated SCP-4168 will make a high pitched noise somewhere in the 180 decibels range. SCP-4168 doesn't need to come into contact with humans to become agitated and make this sound. When in exposed to this sound, the human eardrum ruptures and then the person(s) will go insane. After the sound is made the test subject, henceforth referred to as SCP-4168-1 will return to normal day to day jobs. When back in containment with SCP-4168, SCP-4168-1 will attempt to release SCP-4168. Approximately 72 hours after initial exposure SCP-4168-1 will commit suicide. The most common method that SCP-4168-1 commits suicide is by drowning but several Test subjects when left without water will use other methods (see SCP-4168-5). The suicides are attempted whether or not the attempted lease release of SCP-4168 is successful. If the suicide attempt of SCP-4168-1 is unsuccessful then the subject returns to normal. The necklace around SCP-4168 neck is made of an unknown material but emits extreme energy. Personnel who come in contact of the necklace drop dead of unknown cause. It is assumed that SCP-4168 has a small pocket dimension under its cloak. When SCP-4168 walks it leaves a trail of dead leaves. This cloak is made of surprisingly strong satin. All attempts to remove any sized portion of this cloak have been unsuccessful.

Experiment on SCP-4168 with D-2657. Overseen by Dr.Helen on 5/7/2034
D-2657 is told to enter containment by Dr.Helen. He has been equipped with the standard military grade noise canceling headphones. After ten minutes of D-2657 being in containment with SCP-4168, SCP-4168 has shown signs of agitation. Fifteen minutes into the test D-2657 is instructed to get closer to SCP-4168. Exactly 2 meters from SCP-4168, SCP-4168 begins making the noise. D-2657 is showing signs of fear which significantly increase when he is instructed to take of his headset. After being reminded he will be terminated if he doesn’t comply he reluctantly takes off his head set. After 2 seconds of exposure to SCP-4168, D-2657 is crumpled into the fetal position. Several personnel enter containment and transport SCP-4168-5 to new containment. After experiments on SCP-012, SCP-4168-5 has his nails clipped and his teeth removed and the walls of his cell are padded. After 2 hours SCP-4168-5 has been observed banging on the door of his containment. 6 hours after initial exposure SCP-4168-5 stops banging on the door and is heard screaming and crying about hearing voices telling him to release SCP-4168. The banging started up again with the crying at hour 35. At hour 72 SCP-4168-5 started violently shaking his head to the point of a severe concussion resulting in death.

As of 6/24/1997 14 tests have been conducted and all but 3 have resulted in the death of all class D personnel involved. This experiment went more wrong than any O-5 could imagine and is the reason there is no further testing on SCP-4168.
D-6945 is instructed to enter the containment of SCP-4168. The hope of this experiment is to prevent the suicide attempts of anyone affected by SCP-4168. After being exposed D-6945 was escorted to her containment. Once inside of her containment, D-6945 smashed the door open before staff had a chance to lock the door. She then proceeded to gouge the eyes of anyone in her way with uncharacteristic strength. Once back in the viewing position of the containment that held SCP-4168, D-6945 opened the containment releasing SCP-4168. The anomaly preceded to kill the D class personnel and walk towards the exit, somehow knowing every turn to take to get there. In the end 166 personnel were killed and 56 suicide attempts were made in the total 27 minutes the breach lasted. SCP-4168 was contained by several Security officers with extreme difficulty and many casualties. It is a unanimous decision by the O5 to cancel all, further testing on SCP-4168.
