Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be under constant monitoring by CCTV cameras from monitoring station A2. Due to the underground location of SCP-XXXX, minimal effort is required to ensure that SCP-XXXX remains hidden from nerby civilians. A single concrete bunker is located at the cave entrance leading to SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an approximately 12 meter tall gateway made from what appears to be basalt. Each door has a large quantity of ornately carved pictograms on it, the right door's pictograms come together to form a heavenly garden with a single tree in the background. The left door however has a mirrored image of the right door, forming the same field but reaped in fire and the tree has been burnt. On each of the doors there is an individual covered in what appears to be a suit of full plate armour different to any previously observed. These two individuals are seemingly facing each other. Both of the two individuals are holding out one hand each which make contact at the center of the two doors forming a circular hole in the door. A large set of stairs made the same basalt as the rest of the structure lead up to the gateway itself. Carbon dating made by foundation personel date SCP-XXXX to be at least ████ years old.
The cave which SCP-XXXX is located in is believed to be approximately 8000 cubic meters, and is primarily empty exempting the stalagmites and other rock formations within the cave. A path made from gravel leads from the cave entrance all the way to the foot of the stairway leading to the gateway itself.
SCP-XXXX was first discovered by Mr. ██████ year 19██/██/██ near Uppsala, Sweden during a hiking trip. The SCP foundation intercepted a 911 call from Mr. ██████ roughly 4 hours into the trip, and moved to quickly secure and contain the SCP. Mr. ██████ was subjected to Class B amnestics, and was released back into the civilian population under the pretence of being lost in the woods.
SCP-XXXX constantly emit a low yield of alpha radiation increasing in intensity the shorter the distance to SCP-XXXX, as such all personnel within the cave in which SCP-XXXX is located must wear protective equipment and be subjected to decontamination after their performed duty is completed.
Addendum 1: On 2003/██/2█, Experimentation with SCP-XXXX was approved by senior researcher Dr. ██████. One Class D personnel was sent to inspect SCP-XXXX. D-2324 convicted of first degree murder, was selected for experiment. Upon reaching 10 meters from SCP-XXXX the two carved figures on both the left and right side of SCP-XXXX turned their heads to face D-2324 and vocalized in unison a single sentence before returning to their previous position “Those who seek heaven will often only find hell.”, D-2324 was urged to move closer to SCP-XXXX by foundation researchers and complied to requests, moving several meters closer to SCP-XXXX upon which the right door of the gateway began to slide open, after approximately 13 seconds of waiting a singular humanoid creature emerged from SCP-XXXX, dubbed SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 drew a sword hanging from its hip and moved towards D-2324. D-2324 began to run back towards the security bunker at the opposite end of the cave despite protests from foundation staff. SCP-XXXX-1 began to sprint after D-2324 and swung its sword cleaving D-2324 in half, before falling to its knees and consuming the remains of D-2324. SCP-XXXX-1 was terminated shortly after by foundation security personnel. The remains of SCP-XXXX-1 was sent to site-19 for further study.
Addendum 2: By request of Dr. ██████ more tests involving SCP-XXXX was approved by 05-9 on 20██/██/12. A single remote controlled rover was sent to investigate SCP-XXXX.
Rover successfully reached SCP-XXXX without incident and collected surface samples and performed a successful 3d scan of SCP-XXXX. Rover retrieved without incident.
Addendum 3: At 0750 hours Dr. ██████ approved of Experiment-03. One class D personnel was to approach SCP-XXXX. D-2036 had a clean criminal record in comparison to previous personnel, and as such was selected for trials concerning SCP-XXXX. At 1000 hours D-2036 approached SCP-XXXX, once D-2036 came within 10 meters of SCP-XXXX the two carved figures on both doors turned to face D-2036 and proclaimed “To stray from once intended path is to sin”, at which point the left door began to slide open, D-2036 began to move closer starting over radio that “It's so warm, i feel … so … warm” D-2036 then proceeds to remove his breather mask and walks into SCP-XXXX the door closes behind him. D-2036 is presumed K.I.A. Further testing using D class personnel has been suspended due to being described by on site Level 4 administrator as “wasteful”
Incident 232: On 2003/12/██ the left door of SCP-XXXX began to slide open without the presence of any foundation personnel, this so far unrecorded behaviour compelled staff to engage code alpha-zero, and the station was put on high alert. At approximately 0200 hours three instances of SCP-XXXX-1 emerged from SCP-XXXX. The three instances approached research station 5, though did not appear hostile. The three instances of SCP-XXXX-1 were clad in full plate armour similar in design to that of engraved on SCP-XXXX with a few notable differences, the faceplate on the helmet of SCP-XXXX-1 recembeled a human skull with two eye slits and a hole where a human mouth would be, a single row of metal spike roughly 3 cm in length were affixed to both the upper and lower jaw. Nothing could be seen through either the eye slits or the mouth hole.
One instance of SCP-XXXX-1 stepped forward and proclaimed in seven different languages that it wished to “parley”, Dr. ██████ approved SCP-XXXX-1's request. Dr. Andersson was then selected to approach with two armed guards as escort.

<End Log>Closing Statement: Interview terminated due to aggressive actions taken by SCP-XXXX-1. Dr. Andersson expired roughly 12 minutes after interview termination. Remaining instances of SCP-XXXX-1 captured one surviving security officer sent to escort Dr. Andersson and brought him back through SCP-XXXX with them, Security officer STG. Stefansson is assumed K.I.A. All instances of SCP-XXXX-1 emerging from SCP-XXXX is to be terminated on sight unless site personnel are ordered to not do so by at least two level 5 personnel
