Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 10x10 meter room which is to be cleaned every day during it's walk by Class-0 personnel, this process will last 30 minutes at it's longest. Area must contain at least 5 chewing toys and a dog bed which must be replaced as requested by SCP-XXXX.

The subject is to be taken out of containment by Class-2 personnel for a total duration of 2 hours a day, during which time it is to walk and socialize with whomever it pleases.

SCP-XXXX must, at all times, wear a shock collar capable of sending at least 100 microcoulombs per trigger press into the subject.

Dr. ██████ may visit the containment room and walk SCP-XXXX as much as he wants, as long as doing so does not interfere with his responsibilities with the foundation. Dr. ██████ must also undergo monthly psychological examination in order to determine the effects of bonding with the subject.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an adult canine male, it is extraordinarily strong and agile and it also posseses the ability of speech and it speaks fluent english and spanish, which it also appears to understand perfectly. SCP-XXXX-1 refers to it as "Lucky", there is no apparent trend for what each owner names the subject. No direct attempts at containment made by the foundation have been successful.

It is not currently known when or where it was born, if it was born, how it became sentient, or how it became capable of speech. SCP-XXXX appears to be unaware of the consequences of it's actions, only abiding morally to it's current master's views. The subject has been offered higher quality of life at a foundation site, but denies any offers and affirms his loyalty to SCP-XXXX-1.The subject is not impervious to damage, as demonstrated by experiments performed on it (see experiments log for further information).

Foundation researchers have concluded that SCP-XXXX must have an unusually long life span, as it has revealed it has had several owners in the past, always outliving them to find another owner. While the subject has a feeble notion of time, it can be assumed it has existed for at least several decades.

Even though it is deemed subdued for now, it may return to it's marauder behaviour once SCP XXXX-1 expires, due to this and the difficulty of containment, it has been decided that it is to remain in euclid classification.

SCP-XXXX-1 is an adult human male of 63 years of age by the name of Francis █████████, he posseses no anomalous qualities.

+ Incident reports

Incident SCP XXXX-A: First reports of SCP-XXXX came to the foundation when several animal control workers were killed in one of the suburbs of ██████, ██████; according to a police report, SCP-XXXX had hunted the dog of a neighbor, who upon interrogation revealed that SCP-XXXX had been a neighborhood nuisance for up to 3 months, begging for food and attacking wildlife, he also revealed that SCP-XXXX had cursed at him as it made it's escape. The killings were masked to the public as viral advertising for an upcoming movie and class A amnestics were applied on the suburb. Mobile task force epsilon-6 operations squad foxtrot (refered to from now on as E-6F¹)was dispatched, team E-6Fa was equipped with bite suits, tasers and a cage with instructions to secure the subject, E-6Fc assists in their efforts. After a short search in the vicinity of the killings, the subject was located and engaged when it became hostile and a brawl ensued but, despite having been struck several times, SCP XXXX was not subdued, making it's escape once it had disabled the agents.

The team was evacuated back to base by E-6Fc with severe injuries.

Incident SCP-XXXX-B: Having been deemed too dangerous for short range containment, E-6Fb was equipped with long range dog tranquilizers and a helicopter, in the mean time, E-6Fc had been keeping track of SCP-XXXX's movements.

Upon arrival to within effective range of their guns, E-6Fb opened fire on SCP-XXXX, which was eventually hit despite its best attempts at avoiding the darts.

Both teams were ordered to be ready to contain SCP-XXXX as soon as the tranquilizers made effect, but after a 9 minute wait, the subject showed no signs of having been tranquilized.
Long range tranquilization was attempted twice more during this incident, but to the same results. E-6Fc kept observing the subject.

Incident SCP-XXXX-C: E-6Fc tracks SCP-XXXX along as it makes it's way out of the suburb and into the outlying forest, along highway I-██; while the rest of E-6F planned a new course of action.

The subject is then approached by an adult human male (from now on refered to as SCP-XXXX-1) in a red █████████ pickup truck, who then offers a raw steak from a bag to SCP-XXXX, the subject the boards the truck and drives off. E-6Fc (who were following by foot) deploys an unmanned aerial drone and follow the vehicle in this manner to a small estate connected to I-[redacted] by a dirt road branching off ██ kilometers from the ██████ city center. While performing a closer scan of the area, the drone is shot down by SCP-XXXX-1 while cursing can be heard from the estate. E-6Fc keep watch of the estate for the night and were advised not engage due to SCP-XXXX's potential for violence and their lack of protective gear. E-6F surrounds the estate the next day and an armed standoff with SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1 ensues. During negotiations, SCP-XXXX-1 demands to speak with an authority figure. After de-escalation Dr. █████████, director of site ██, made his way to the estate, explaining the purpose of the foundation's actions and, after a brief questioning, insists SCP-XXXX is benign enough to be left mostly unsupervised in it's current situation. An greement is made where the subjects are not allowed to leave the area within a 200m radius of the estate without permission, they are given a satellite telephone to contact foundation personnel with, and are instructed not to take down any surveilance equipment found around the estate; SCP-XXXX is to submit to any experiment requests from visiting researchers. In exchange, the foundation will provide the subjects with medical services and basic necesities as well as a montlhy 500 USD allowance to be spent as they wish. The Interstate was closed under the pretense of a chemical spill.

Incident SCP-XXXX-D: Researchers observing the subjects' routine over a period of █ months determined that containment could be upgraded by the -then - newly planned operation 150-Airbud, which consists of eliminating the current SCP-XXXX-1 and forcing situations which could result in a bond with a cooperative individual; which was carried out on the day of march ██,████. The subjects had asked for permission to venture out of their containment zone to hunt for game, their handler granted it and notified E-6F, who dispatched c team disguised as ████████████ operatives in order to not antagonize the foundation. They approach the subjects on an atv with ████████████ markings and open fire, killing SCP-XXXX-1 and injuring SCP-XXXX. E-6Fc was 'intercepted' by E-6Fa and E-6Fb, all teams load non-lethal ammunition and stage a mock battle which culminates with the subject being extracted and c team 'routing'. SCP-XXXX arrived at site ██ where it's wounds were treated and it shortly afterwards bonded with an on-site researcher.
