Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be monitored for activity from a research vessel under the guise of conducting environmental impact studies since the implementation of the Helsinki Convention. Underwater exploration by non-Foundation individuals is to be deterred on the grounds of dangerous chemicals in the immediate area.
If a potential SCP-XXXX-1 instance is detected, an unmanned submersible should be sent to verify and capture it. SCP-XXXX-1 entities are to be contained in a standard biological containment unit until their expiry or termination, at the discretion of the head researcher.
SCP-XXXX-2 instances are to be contained in a standard humanoid containment cell until their expiry or termination, at the discretion of the head researcher.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an amorphous entity primarily composed of human tissues, with fragments of wood and various metals throughout. It is located on the floor of the Baltic Sea, 120km Southeast of Stockholm. Estimates based on its size and apparent composition suggest it has a mass of 1000-1200 tons. SCP-XXXX is attached to a large underwater structure which houses an active fission reactor, an advanced life-support system, and the core of SCP-XXXX. The structure is in an advanced state of disrepair.
Data from initial recovery indicates SCP-XXXX's core is a thin, ruptured metal sphere approximately 5 meters in diameter, containing a mass of brain tissue surrounding a small crystalline object.
At least every 2 months, SCP-XXXX will slough off a portion of itself farthest from its core, creating an instance of SCP-XXXX-1. These are
