The Knocker

Item #: SCP-4128

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4128 is to be held in a 20 m x 20 m x 20 m windowless titanium container located at least 80 km from the nearest sleeping person. This container must be lined with an excessive amount of sound proofing material. There must be at least five security team members guarding the container at all times who should report any muffled sounds or tapping immediately. Testing on SCP-4128 is strictly prohibited between the times of 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. Testing must be approved by Level 3 personnel or higher.

Description: SCP-4128 is a humanoid with very disproportionate body features. SCP-4128 measures 5 m exactly in height and has a a slender figure. It appears to have little to no torso, rather the legs sprout out of the neck which make up 3/4 of the entities total height. SCP-4128's arms begin where the ears should be located and its arms extend down past its kneecaps, stopping right before it reaches the ankle. Both of its hands are large and bony with nails sharpened to a point, the knuckles appear to be slightly red in great contrast with its completely white skin.

SCP-4128's anomalous effects are triggered when it senses a sleeping person within a 80 km range. It then crouches down and makes its way to where the victim is sleeping. It will then find a window or hole to look in on the person and begin to knock. The victim usually wakes up after 4 minutes of the knocking. Once the source of the sound is found by the person and direct visual contact is made, the knocking increases in speed and intensity slowly. SCP-4128 will then begin chanting, "Come here and let me in, I have something for you". If the victim proceeds to go over to the entity and lets them into the room, SCP-4128 proceeds to pick them up by both arms and proceeds to scream in the victims face, the sheer force peels away the skin and muscle on their face leaving the exposed skull along with the untouched rest of the body. If the victim chooses to ignore the knocking and chanting then over the course of the night the knocking will intensify and the chanting will become an ear splitting screech that will permanently deafen the person involved.

Once there are small amounts of sunlight in the sky, SCP-4128 will suddenly stop the knocking and screeching and sprint at approximately 90 km/h to the nearest shaded area, eventually making its way back to a cave located in Montana.

Recovery: SCP-4128 was recovered when reports of loud screeching started appearing in the Daniels County area in Montana. The entity was found outside of a remote cabin screeching at a lone huntsman who was administered Class 2 Amnesics. The entity was captured in a large shipping container and shipped to the nearest site.
