Special Containment Procedures:
The entity must at all times be contained within the heated water filled 3 mile deep quarry at outpost ██ with glass for observing the scp Do not take it out of this quarry for more than 1 1/2 hours or it will dry out. Any personal that must interact with the entity must wear scuba gear. and a rope so they can be pulled back up if the scp looks at them
it must be fed meat daily, it seems to prefer fish.
In the event of a breach close the fence gate so it cannot leave outpost ██ if it does get outside of the fence, shoot it with the RIM-7 and transport it back into the quarry, and keep the quarry water clean as possible to stop further growth of scp 3217-A on the date of ██-██-██ this scp escaped into lake Michigan

3217 is a very large squid like creature with oily black skin and two large round glowing green eyes , it has several flexible tentacles, these tentacles can break the sound barrier so it can use them like whips
it has six holes in its head extension, this head extension looks like the one on a squid. three holes on each side these holes shoot very neurotoxic gas. the effects of this gas include sickness, swelling of the throat, light-headed/dizziness, corrosion of the flesh and death, In that order it also turns water murky and puts it into 3217,s control this scp can suck you down by looking at you in gas affected water. The foundation collects this gas for [REDACTED] other scps. it sounds like crying or screaming children depending on its mood, buts its voice is terrifying to subjects it does not show up on video or camera feed It appears to be able to perform telepathic communication over a medium range. it appears to want to go back to its original home in the [REDACTED]

SCP 3217-A
Class: keter
Description: scp 3217-A is a large pulsing glowing green object found on the inside of scp 3217. radio scans have found it to be a living growing hive mind of scp 3217 copies contained within a nuclear cocoon like shell. laser counting has found around 3,000 current number unknown
subjects in the cocoon, this cocoon is growing at a rapid rate and creating more and more copies. This cocoon must be destroyed at the best opportunity, it seems the more polluted the water is the faster it grows, so keep the water clean. The cocoon releases nuclear energy which pollutes the water and seems to kill everything living in the ecosystem it is a more powerful version of the effects of 3217s gases effect.
