Special Containment Procedures: Control of SCP-XXXX phenomena is considered top priority due to its substantial range of effect throughout the New York Metropolitian area.

MTF Pi-1 "City Slickers" are to patrol wilderness areas, alleyways and abandoned places for instances of SCP-XXXX-1 entities, which are to be euthanized at a distance, with cadavers burried locally and faked autopsies conducted.

Individuals will remain mute during the effected period, and have been observed ignoring all attempts at communication and social interaction. SCP-XXXX-1 individuals do not associate with other effected individuals, and will journey in an opposite direction if two were to meet.

SCP-XXXX-1 individuals have been observed to journey long distances, with identified areas including locations such as alleyways, forests, abandoned buildings, and grassy areas.

Further research has confirmed that SCP-XXXX phenomena increases during areas exhibiting cold weather, overcast days and rainy/ snowy periods. SCP-XXXX-1 individuals do not return back to their dwelling or home area, and will instead continuing to journey until starvation, dehydration and eventual death occurs. SCP-XXXX-1 entites do not leave behind cadavers, with current location after death remaining unknown.
