The bridges; anyone sent over crosses into an alternate reality, and has a memory of what they were doing in the 24 hours that led up to them crossing the bridge, with their memory beyond that erased.
Effect resets in 24 hours, but if the situation that the current location is in would lead to them dying, they don't come out. You would enter a bridge in these towns, and come out at one of them: Cheyenne, St. Louis, Omaha, Sacramento, Columbus;
Various people across the ages, hour per decade? End of the world, originating in central united states; various towns stop sending back people; it resets per day, week?
Entropic fish tank; two fish, metaphors for anomalous and mundane population; temperature anomalous energy, water level normal entropy? Run out in thousand years or so?
Anomalous car, constantly moving; no living thing in the car, but appears as if it was covering distance. Damage, stains, etc. appear on car as normal.
Book that contains whatever the reader wants to read; not necessarily usable or practical.
The above is written in excessive shortform; the main purpose of this are to serve as small reminders, and to provide a general place to refine ideas.

The crux of the idea, essentially, is that there is a set of 6 bridges across various cities. After stepping onto the end of one of the bridges, the individual attempting to cross the bridge would instantly de-materialize at their current location and re-materialize at the other end of one of the bridges. After a person "crosses" one of the bridges, they would be unable to recall anything prior to 24 hours before their crossing of the bridge. The events leading up to their crossing of the bridge, and the date and year that they currently believe it is, would differ from the actual events as well as the date and year prior to their crossing of the bridge. The events that they recall, and the date and year that they believed it was after crossing would correlate to the day of the week and the hour that they crossed the bridge, but not directly; e.g crossing the bridge at 2 PM on a Tuesday, no matter the current day and year, would always mean that whoever crosses the bridge at that time would believe that current year and date is 3/1/2005.
Events that the bridge-crosser would recall after crossing the bridge would, to put it plainly, would depict various different "end-of-the-world" scenarios in different stages of progression from the perspective of the bridge-crosser; these would be both anomalous and mundane, but the actual progression of the end-of-the-world scenario would vary depending on the day of the week and the time that the bridge was crossed. The scenarios would reset weekly, and would vary depending on which bridge you crossed; for example, in an end-of-the-world scenario that involves a pandemic wiping out the human race, crossing one of the bridges at 1 AM on a Monday would result in the virus being entirely unknown among the general population, and as such having the events described by the bridge-crosser prior to crossing the bridge simply being a normal, day-to-day routine; while crossing the same bridge at 11 PM on a Sunday would result in the events described by the bridge-crosser prior to crossing the bridge being something out of post-apocalyptic fiction. The entire "effect" would subside after 24 hours; the bridge-crosser would still recall the events that they went through, but they would be remembered similarly to a piece of fiction; while they would still remember going through those events, they would not believe that those events actually happened.
TL;DR: A set of bridges, that, when one is walked across, instantly teleport you to the other end of one of the bridges. After crossing one of the bridges, you can only recall events 24 hours before your crossing of the bridge. The events that you recall will depict some sort of end-of-the-world scenario; the scenario itself "resets" weekly, so that the events recalled will always be the same depending on which day and hour you crossed the bridge.
I apologize if this is a bit long-winded; it wasn't very easy to explain everything that I felt was essential about the idea in a short way, and, as such, several smaller details that I did not feel was absolutely crucial to the understanding of the idea were omitted.
The SCP would revolve around several bridges across several American cities. Once anyone had fully located their body over one of the bridges, they would instantly disappear from their current location and reappear at one of the ends of the various bridges; it could be the same bridge they had stepped onto originally, but it could also be any other bridge associated with the effect. Once they had re-appeared at the other end of the bridges, anyone who had crossed the bridge would be able to recall events up to 24 hours before their crossing of the bridge, but nothing more. The events they recall would be noticeably different from the actual events that preceded them crossing the bridges, and the times and dates that the individual recalls in the 24 hours before their crossing would also be changed. However, the time and date that the individual remembers would change depending on the day of the week, and hour, that the individual crossed the bridge; for example, if you crossed one of the bridges at 2 PM on a Sunday, with the current date being 3/1/2015, you would exit believing that it was actually 4 AM on a Tuesday, with the current date being 4/6/2005. The "cycle" of recalled times and dates would reset weekly, as well as the events recalled; so, going off of the above example, even if you entered the bridge 2 months afterward, but the day was still Sunday, and the time was still 2 PM, you would exit believing that the date and time was still 4 AM on a Tuesday. In short, the times and dates that you would believe that it was after crossing the bridge would always correlate to the actual day of the week and time that you crossed the bridge.
