A copy of SCP-XXXX
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a set of two car wing mirrors originally installed on a Chevy 1955 FD. Both wing mirrors are standard mirrors for the aforementioned car model. Their shells are made of grey hard plastic, the mirror's are undistored and flat, with no legend written on them. They do not have mechanical support for horizontal rotation typical for modern wing mirrors.
Due to the fact that each mirror has a different set of anomalous properties, the left facing mirror will be denoted SCP-XXXX-A and the right facing mirror SCP-XXXX-B.
Both car mirror's are visible in our dimension as well as a separate dimension named SCP-XXXX-DIM. SCP-XXXX-DIM is an alternate dimension that is assumed to have been identical to our own previous to the stroke of Hershey Gilton (See Retrieval History).
While both mirrors can be seen, only SCP-XXXX-A can be moved and interacted with normally. No method has been found to touching or moving SCP-XXXX-B (See Test Logs #1), with the exception of touching it via proxy with SCP-XXXX-A.
Furthermore, it is possible to see the landscape of SCP-XXXX-DIM by looking into it's mirror, as it reflects the surroundings of SCP-XXXX-DIM instead of those in our dimension. SCP-XXXX-B reflects light normally.
Retrieval History:
SCP-XXXX on at night on 16.4.2020 in ████. A local senior named Hershey Gilton had suffered a stroke while parked in his car at █████ Avenue. Due to his stroke Gilton fell with his head on the steering wheel, activating his car's horn and alerting the neighbors. Neighbors were able to rehabilitate and keep Gilton alive until the ambulance arrived. The SCP-Respondance Team XXXX was alterted, when mule recording systems on the ambulance showed one of the local residents started to notice that one of the wing mirrors of Gilton's car would not reflect her own image and subsequently drawing the attention of others to it.
