Personnel level 2 and above are allowed to interact with subject should they encounter SCP-XXXX as while the subject is classified as Keter, it lacks any intent of harming anyone for malicious purposes. Personnel are in fact encourage to interact with the subject should they be able to spare the time in the hopes of collecting any possible clues as to its intentions, origins and other information of note.
Description: SCP-XXXX was first discovered when on March ██, 20██. A Mobile Task Force was at the time deployed in the the Amazon Rain Forest attempting to find shelter from the rain after a failed attempt to capture SCP-████ which resulted in the destruction of their transport vehicles (one helicopter, two jeeps, and a boat), the lives of several personnel including two members of the Mobile Task Force and one injured agent. At the time, we had lost all contact with the team.
After trekking through the forest on foot for at least 4 hours, they discovered a cave. SCP-XXXX had an entire camp set up that cave, complete with a camp fire, a water collector suspended outside on a tree, cans suspended by string at the entrance of the cave to alert intrusions and a bed roll.
The MTF designated as Mobile Task Force Lambda-4 or 'Birdwatchers' entered the encampment, believing it to have been made by a person or group of civilians. Upon visual contact with SCP-XXXX they found that the subject had already pulled its gun on the team and both were locked in an intense stare down before both parties agreed to put down their arms and settle it over a chicken dinner. The rest of this incident can be read under XXXX-A First Encounter below.
SCP-XXXX has the appearance of an adult male somewhere between 20 and 30 with appearance similar to middle eastern ethnicity. SCP-XXXX appears to be lean, standing at 167 cm tall and always appears to be clear of dirt and filth. Subject wears worn, baggy clothing such as a green jacket and cargo pants. SCP-XXXX always carries around with him a camping backpack that has a desert camo and is 60 cm in height and 30 cm in width. Said backpack always weighs 250 grams no matter its contents.
SCP-XXXX's backpack is seemingly infinite on the inside, containing objects such as canned food of various brands and food types with the subject once reported to take out 400 (rough estimate) cans of sardines, peas and quail eggs. SCP-XXXX has also produced camping equipment from his backpack such as a tent, cooking utilities, a multipurpose knife, etc. A more concrete list of items (that we know of so far) will be compiled in a list below, dividing up the items up by anomalous and non-anomalous status.
For this reason, the backpack will be classified as SCP-XXXX-1.
Returning to the topic of SCP-XXXX itself. The subject is generally friendly, even ecstatic to engage in social interactions. Subject is also noted to also keep itself within arms reach of its firearm. Said firearm is a Winchester 1894 but subject rebukes this observation insisting that it's a 'Mariah 1895.' SCP-XXXX remarks that it has far more advanced and reliable weaponry that it keeps in SCP-XXXX-1 but refuses to use them, stating that "it's like taking a nuke to a fist fight."
SCP-XXXX display the anomalous ability to teleport anywhere with seemingly no limit to range as long as he knows the area it's going to. Attempting to teleport into into a living being or solid object will automatically fail and give SCP-XXXX a brief sharp pain located in its head. Subject claims to be able to transport from one universe to another though with great danger. Transporting to universe it has been to is fairly easy. Transporting to one its never been to however is more complicated. SCP-XXXX remarks that it's tiring to do so and times transports it to less then favorable locations or a violent situation. Subject remarks that it also can't teleport into all universes, only those that carry these specific conditions.
1. The universe in question has to at least give the subject a chance at surviving it.
2. The universe has to at least be similar to the laws of physics that the subject was born with.
The mechanisms behind this anomalous ability are unknown even to SCP-XXXX. Several researchers are debating about the possible connections between SCP-XXXX and SCP-507 such as why one is able to control their ability and the other can't. Both SCPs are currently unaware of each others existence and should be maintained until the 05 Council approves of plans concerning this.
