Item #: SCP-XXXXObject Class: Euclid |
Special Containment Procedures:
A wall is constructed around the forest that SCP-XXXX appears to effect, and is to be monitored to ensure no civilians enter said forest for any reason. In the event that a civilian does enter the forest outside of the entry point, any resulting anomalies are to be documented.
SCP-XXXX's entry point has an SCP owned building encompassing the entirety of the location. Said building is to be guarded by at least 4 people at all times, alongside cameras monitoring the site.
In the event that anything exits SCP-XXXX, Site Director ████ is to be contacted immediately and all personnel currently in the area are to go to the entry point of SCP-XXXX to asses and deal with the possible threat.
If SCP-XXXX's entry point moves at all, changes in size, or relocates itself abruptly, it is of utmost importance that new position be contained appropriately.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a vast spatial anomaly located in █████, Oregon. SCP-XXXX has a single entry point, which will be deemed SCP-XXXX-1, and no discovered exit points currently. The entry point of SCP-XXXX appears to be a path leading over a small hill at one edge the forest in the area mentioned above. The entirety of the forest segment is unnaturally silent and there never appears to be any wind existing to make the foliage move whatsoever. The forest, when not entered through SCP-XXXX-1, is reported to be "Static," giving it a very unnatural appearance, but no other anomalous properties have been reported.
Entry through SCP-XXXX-1 seems to be achieved when the subject goes out of view from the perspective of any observer who is not within the entry point itself, by going over the small hill that the path goes over. Upon entering SCP-XXXX, subjects become, to date, irretrievable1, as no exit point has been discovered. Time within SCP-XXXX appears to be stopped, with the sun/moon never appearing to move in the sky. SCP-XXXX's environment is a patchwork of various other environments on earth2, with an estimated span of [REDACTED] in diameter, although due to it's adapting nature this can be assumed to be changing. The various locations of SCP-XXXX have their own set time.
SCP-XXXX is devoid of all animal live, and no human structures or any otherwise animal-altered structures exist within it either. Two animal lifeforms have been discovered within SCP-XXXX, and man-made constructs have been discovered aswell [SEE LOG XXXX_06]
It has been shown that SCP-XXXX's primary anomalous functions seem to be based entirely on the perception of the person inside of it. In order to transition between one environment and another, the subject needs to loose focus on the area around them, such as looking at the ground and looking back up, blinking, or quick turning of the head.
SCP-XXXX is exceedingly difficult to fully explore at once, due to the fact that SCP-XXXX has a sort of "resetting" system. After a certain amount of time within SCP-XXXX, subjects experience an immense wind coming from whichever direction they're facing, and after it reaches it's peak they will be instantaneously erased. When there are multiple subjects inside at once, they are erased together. The duration a subject can continue to exist within SCP-XXXX tends to vary based on their past, and is typically longer with females.
It is important to note that SCP-XXXX appears to inhabit some sort of reality-warping entity (Hereby declared SCP-XXXX-Ω) that either only can or only chooses to communicate by slightly altering pre-existing information
Discovery Log:
SCP-XXXX was discovered on █/██/████ by Dr. Vensus while taking a walk outside her home in █████, Oregon. She had been focusing on her own thoughts and accidentally walked much much farther than she typically does, which lead to her discovering SCP-XXXX. After quickly noticing anomalous properties, she had used her phone to document as she was going through, this is also the only interaction with SCP-XXXX-Ω documented so far.
