Item #: SCP-[tbd]
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP- is to be kept in a quadruple padlocked vault at all times (clearance for Class-B personnel only). Any means of artistic expression or tools are to be kept at a minimum of 110 m from SCP- at all times. Usage of SCP- is restricted to experiments conducted by Class-B personnel only. Class-D personnel are only to interact with SCP- during supervised testing by Class-B personnel or higher.
Description:
SCP- is a canvas fixed to a wooden frame with aluminum staples and steel screws, measuring at 130 x 90 cm. The canvas itself appears to be resistant to permanent coloring tools of any kind, including acrylic paints and permanent markers. Any and all markings or stains can be removed from the canvas of SCP-[tbd] with nothing less than water. When something is drawn or painted on SCP-[tbd]'s canvas in detail, the object or scene depicted will appear via SCP-[tbd]-b, which is a 1 x 1.8 m fir door.
SCP-[tbd]-b is disconnected from any wall and is hinged to a fir frame which, when placed vertically against a surface of its dimensions or higher, will lead to a room containing anything depicted in SCP-. The room has no set dimensions other than being at least larger than SCP-[tbd]-b's frame. If a scene or environment is depicted in SCP-, SCP-[tbd]-b will lead to that environment, regardless of if it exists of Earth or for that matter, in the known universe.
Research shows that things that are not visible from the angle they are depicted on SCP-[tbd] will still appear in SCP-[tbd]-b if they are implied by the artist. Dr. ████ requested to paint a scene on SCP-[tbd], permission was granted. Upon completion, SCP-[tbd]-b was opened and lead to the environment depicted on SCP-[tbd]. However, researchers noted that upon entering the environment (which contained forests, mountains, and hills), other parts of the scene which would be invisible relative to the depiction on the canvas, were still present within SCP-[tbd]-b's pocket dimension. What researchers found correlated with Dr. ████'s idea of the environment while she was painting. She was quoted as saying "I don't think it only learned from what I painted, but also what I intended to paint and what I imagined".
