*Object* SCP-XXXX
*Special Containment Procedures* SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a soundproofed anomalous object containment locker and taken out on a bi-weekly basis for maintenance. Whenever testing is performed on SCP-XXXX, approval must be gained from at least 2 level 3 staff.
*Description* SCP-XXXX is a wooden box approximately 8 centimeters long, 5 centimeters wide and 4 centimeters tall with a bronze cylinder and matching bronze tongues that produce a musical tone when plucked or otherwise manipulated. There is a blank brass plate attaches to the front of the box. The cylinder is 2 centimeters in diameter and 4 centimeters wide and appears to be completely smooth when not in it's anomalous state.
The anomalous effects of SCP-XXXX manifest when a sentient being within 6 times its height in meters begin thinking about a song or rhythmic composition. the song will play at differing volumes depending on how "into" the song the subject is, but it will never play loud enough to unnerve or otherwise distract the subject.
The brass plate on the front of the music box when in it's anomalous state displays the song that it is playing. If the subject is simply making up notes as they go along then it will display the notes of the song in real time.
