Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4763 is to be kept in a human containment cell lined by 30cm soundproof padding. The interior of the cell is to contain at least one microphone capable of detecting sounds as low as 30dB in each room. Any speech detected from SCP-4763 is to be reviewed by no fewer than 2 Class B personnel. Communication with SCP-4763 outside of testing is to be done via non-verbal media, such as notes or images, with media produced by machines such as typing or printing deemed most safe. Unauthorized verbal communication with SCP-4763 will result in disciplinary action.
There is a terminal within SCP-4763’s containment area to facilitate communication, with a mail slot to accommodate delivery of physical media. Non-verbal media produced by 4763 is currently classified as safe, and is to be contained within sealed envelopes or on an isolated hard drive. Media produced by SCP-4763 must be reported to Class 2 personnel or higher outside of testing. SCP-4763 is not permitted outside their containment cell unless fitted with a gag or is otherwise rendered unable to speak. If SCP-4763 is detected outside its cell or a secure testing area without such measures, a Level-1 containment breach alarm is to be activated.
SCP-4763 may be provided with artistic supplies such as paper, canvas, writing materials, and paints not exceeding $30/month. In addition, one piano has been provided to allow for non-verbal auditory expression. These allow SCP-4763 to communicate in non-verbal methods, on the condition it submit all works to the foundation for study. As of this time, SCP-4763 has proven cooperative and expresses no desire to escape containment.
Description: SCP-4763 is a Caucasian male with brown hair and blue eyes, sporting no other significant or anomalous traits.
SCP-4763 was originally recovered from federal custody in _, determined to be the focus of “The Cult of the Truthsayer”, its description matching a missing person’s report from . The Foundation became aware of its anomalous properties during interrogation, where it successfully identified a Foundation operative within the facility and requested asylum via written note, with a hand-drawn image of the SCP foundation insignia.
SCP-4763 appears capable of communicating factual information about a human it can observe or verbally communicate with, with the exception of itself. This information is relayed accurately though verbal communication from SCP-4763. The language spoken is dependent on the intended recipient of the message, regardless of whether SCP-4763 knows the language itself. The information given does not seem to be restricted by the subjects’ awareness of the information, and will accurately predict future events in the subject’s life. The furthest confirmed prediction is 97 days. Requests for further tests of this property are pending approval of the Ethics Committee, as it is unknown whether SCP-4763 is relaying accurate information, or causing the events to happen as predicted through unknown means. Interviewer: Dr.
Foreword: Initial interview conducted to determine anomalous nature shortly after securing from federal custody. The interview was delayed until writing material was brought for SCP-4763 to communicate with. Dr.W relayed written messages verbally for audio recording.
Dr. : Why do you require a pen and paper?
Dr. : “It is not safe for you if I speak.” Can you elaborate?
Dr. : “When I speak, people hear things they don’t like.” What sorts of things?
Dr. : “The truth. Please do not ask too much, it is getting harder to hold the words back.” It is my job to ask questions. This is an interview. What ‘truth’?
SCP-4763: You will leave the facility early today and find your wife having in your bed with . You will take the gun stored in the black desk and murder first _, then your wife. The Foundation will arrive before the police will, and you will be tested for mind control. The results will be inconclusive, and you will be demoted to D-Class personnel. On ____, you will die during a containment breach.
Addendum //: SCP-4763 exhibited signs of distress and became unresponsive at this point. Dr. __ exited the facility shortly after and was found in his home with a gun and two corpses, matching the description of his wife and a male matching the description of a Mr. . Dr. was demoted to D-4763-1 and kept under observation at Site __.
Addendum //__: D-4763-1 declared MIA after a Level-2 containment breach at Site __.
