Special Containment Procedures: Containment of SCP-XXXX is primarily focused on preventing the spread of matter from SCP-XXXX-1, through SCP-XXXX-2, into our universe. For this purpose, four antimatter generating satellites have been designated to containment of SCP-XXXX. Each satellite is to use electromagnetic fields to shape the antimatter (specifically anti strange quark matter) into a spherical shape, with a diameter of 100 meters around SCP-XXXX-2. Each satellite is to keep a reserve of 8 metric tonnes of antimatter ready at all times, and is to be powered primarily by nuclear fission, with a secondary solar power cell. All satellites are also to keep a suitable quantity of power in reserve to create 4 tonnes of antimatter within 30 minutes. Widespread use of Class-A Amnestics post incident I-XXXX-1 has been authorized by the O-5 Council. Foundation assets embedded within major astronomical associations are to prevent the knowledge of SCP-XXXX-2 or the antimatter satellites from leaking to the public. Foundation Webcrawler Θ-XXXX is to prevent leaks of information regarding SCP-XXXX-2 and the antimatter satellites from reaching the public. All amateur astronomers who locate SCP-XXXX-2, either accidentally or deliberately, are to be amnesticized and have false memories implanted. Any Foundation operatives who attempt to gain access to this file without authorization from the O-5 Council are to be terminated immediately. Any Foundation operatives who are reassigned from the SCP-XXXX Project are to be amnesticized with false memories implanted. Should a widespread leak concerning SCP-XXXX occur, widespread use of amnestics is authorized. Under no circumstances should the Foundation allow any space agency, either governmental or private, to place a permanent habitation on Mars. Use of ███████████ is permitted should this occur.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a parallel dimension to our own, where the majority of matter is composed of strange quarks. SCP-XXXX was discovered after incident I-XXXX-1, incident log can be found below. SCP-XXXX is comprised of three significant anomalies:

SCP-XXXX-1

SCP-XXXX-1 is the parallel universe itself, which failed to form in the way our universe had, and as a result, the majority of matter is comprised of strange quarks (This form of matter is referred to as Strange Matter). When Strange matter comes into contact with non-quark matter (such as the matter that makes up our own universe) the non-quark matter will decay into Strange/Quark Matter.

SCP-XXXX-2

SCP-XXXX-2 Is a dimensional wormhole between our universe and SCP-XXXX-1. The wormhole is spherical, and has a radius of 12 meters. This wormhole is located in orbit around Mars, approximately 223,000 Kilometers from the Martian surface. The wormhole allows for the flow of matter and energy between our universe and SCP-XXXX-1, the matter also will retain its form, allowing for spacecraft to travel to and from SCP-XXXX-1. Whether or not SCP-XXXX-2 was created by SCP-XXXX-3 is currently unknown.

SCP-XXXX-3

SCP-XXXX-3 is an intelligent space-faring alien race. SCP-XXXX-3 has an armed fleet of spacecraft, although the exact number of spacecraft possessed by SCP-XXXX-3 is unknown. SCP-XXXX-3 spacecraft are all identical. They are the shape of a cone, with the nose of the cone flattened. The back of the cone is a large engine of unknown origin. These spacecraft are 8 meters long, and 15 meters wide at their widest point, and 5 meters wide at their thinnest. These vessels are posses forward facing armaments, capable of firing small projectiles, similar in size to a high caliber bullet. These weapons are fired at planets, asteroids, and other spacecraft to decay them into strange matter. How these vessels are powered, how their engines function, whether they require refueling, and whether they possess crew are unknown. From behavioral analysis, it is hypothesized that SCP-XXXX-3 are attempting to colonize our universe, and to complete this task, they must first convert all matter in our universe into strange matter, which is usable by them.

November 22nd, 2003 11:04 AM: NASA Satellites in orbit of Mars detect a gravitational anomaly approximately 200,000 kilometers from the surface of Mars. The Foundation is alerted to possible Anomaly.

November 22nd, 2003 11:42 AM: NASA Satellites return images of the anomaly, it is identified as a possible wormhole or black hole by NASA. The Foundation classifies the object as AO-746693

November 22nd, 2003 12:31 PM: NASA Satellites return images of SCP-XXXX-3 Vessels exiting the wormhole. Vessels proceed to fire on the Martian moon of Enyalios.

November 22nd, 2003 12:42 PM: NASA Satellites return images of the moon of Enyalios being converted into Strange Matter. O-5 Council declares a possible XK Scenario.

November 22nd, 2003 6:00 PM: Foundation assets stationed in Martian orbit successfully identify SCP-XXXX-3 to be composed of strange matter, along with Enyalios.

November 23rd, 2003 3:57 AM: Foundation assets in Martian orbit retrofit two of their spacecraft with particle accelerators, and launch one towards Enyalios.

November 24th, 2003 9:16 AM: Particle accelerator releases antimatter on Enyalios, enveloping and annihilating the moon.

November 24th, 2003 3:32 PM: Second particle accelerator is launched towards SCP-XXXX-2.

November 25th, 2003 11:49 PM: Second particle accelerator arrives at SCP-XXXX-2, and successfully envelops all instances of SCP-XXXX-3 and SCP-XXXX-2.

November 27th, 2003 1:09 AM: Foundation declares SCP-XXXX to be contained, and begins formulation of Containment Procedures.

November 28th, 2003 3:00 PM: Large scale misinformation campaign begins, with the aim of preventing public knowledge of SCP-XXXX, Foundation containment procedures for SCP-XXXX, and removing all references to the moon of Enyalios from public record.

July 8th, 2004 12:01 PM: Launch of Foundation antimatter satellites for long term containment of SCP-XXXX is declared successful.

December 19th, 2005 8:07 AM: Foundation satellites successfully deploy around SCP-XXXX-2, and current containment procedures are declared a success.

Febuary 9th, 2007 1:00 PM: O-5 Council and personnel involved in the SCP-XXXX Project declare misinformation campaign successful.

No SCP-XXXX-3 activity has occurred since November 25th, 2003.
