  • Note: SCP-XX01 bares a striking resemblance to SCP-3003. It might be worth adding a reference to this old SCP to suggest a know connection. Possible a potential outpost for rebuilding humanity in the event of a world ending event.

SCP-XX01, SCP-XX02, SCP-XX03, and SCP-XX04 are placeholders.

SCP-RDS - SCP Remote Destination Surveillance

Item #: SCP-XX01

Object Class:

Safe

Special Containment Procedures:

Twenty four hour observation and restriction of surrounding airspace.

Description:

SCP-XX01 is a gravitational anomaly located at GPS Coordinates [Redacted]. Discovered 2015 in the Central American Talamancan Montane forest while a commercial organization [Redacted] was conducting drone topographic surveillance. Its position is constant, currently at approximate altitude of one hundred four meters above ground. It is an invisible horizontal circular opening with a diameter of five meters that leads to SCP-XX02, a self contained peanut shaped land mass approximately four square kilometers in size. All attempts to measure the other properties of SCP-XX01 have resulted in inconclusive data.

Addendum:

  • Originally the anomaly was 100 meters above the ground when discovered, SCP-RDS built a containment facility to monitor the anomaly and decreased the elevation during construction. [Redacted] topographical surveillance drone first fly over was at an altitude of 95 meters. The drone flew under the anomaly and was hit by a strong upward wind causing the drone to ascend to an altitude of 102 meters. Considering the size of the anomaly, it could have just as easily missed the opening and who knows how long it would have been before we found it.
  • Entirely new species exist within and are not found anywhere else on earth. Birds and other flying insects have been frequently seen to enter the anomaly for various reasons. Specifically, a new species of Fringillinae (Finch) has been seen to nest exclusively within the anomaly with no ill effect.

Going any direction while in the anomaly will lead back to where you started eventually. This behavior suggest the environment is contained within the anomaly yet it is affected by night and day cycles. Analysis of samples collected from various locations show no indication of any kind of contamination.

Item #: SCP-XX10

Object Class:

Safe
Neutralized

Special Containment Procedures:

N/A.

Due to abuse by staff, SCP-XX10 sealed within steel containment vessel and placed in site 64's general archive which is under 24-hour video surveillance.

Description:

Currently contained at site 64, SCP-XX10 is a electronic device in the shape of a microwave with abnormal properties. The device has no visible power source or power cable yet remains on for exactly thirty-seven hours five minutes and two seconds before it shuts down for ninety-five seconds. SCP-XX10 has repeated this power interval for the entirety of its containment with precision equivalent to an atomic clock.

If the door to SCP-XX10 is opened by any life form, SCP-XX10 will contain a copy of the last meal they consumed. It only works once per meal and the size of the meal is irrelevant.

Addendum:

  • SCP-XX10 does not work in when temperatures fall below 25 Kelvin.
