Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard storage locker at a light containment zone at Site-█. Access to SCP-XXXX is open to all staff with proper clearance.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 1998 F10 MPMan model mp3 player located at Site █. The object shows no visible anomalous physical properties.
SCP-XXXX’s audio files consist of approximately ten (10) Petabytes worth of mp3 files, all labeled names such as Cnfsn█.mp3 and ████.mp3,
Item #: SCP-XXXX
SCP-XXXX before capture near the abandoned prison |
---|
Object Class: Safe Euclid
Special Containment Procedure: SCP-XXXX is contained within a Standard Secure Humanoid Containment Cell and is to be provided with supplements and basic entertainment. Staff of level 2 and higher are permitted to visit SCP-XXXX in spare time if they wish and may bring fellow staff members. SCP-XXXX is permitted to leave his cell and wander the facility halls and visit staff, and is allowed to socialize with staff.
SCP-XXXX is generally cooperative with staff and their operations on it, and it is permitted to make copies of staff as long as staff are permitted to study said copies.
Temporary Containment Procedure Update: (See Addendum XXXX.2 and XXXX.3): SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a Sealed Human Containment Cell with no windows. Supplements are to be delivered by drone. Absolutely no visitor will be allowed in SCP-XXXX's cell, unless approval has been given by a Senior Level 4 staff member. During Transport, SCP-XXXX is to be blindfolded and cuffed, and is to be escorted by an unarmed guard trained with melee combat. If said guard is to be attacked by a copy, remotely controlled turrets are to be used to neutralize the threat.
Same rules apply to SCP-XXXX-2, but they are both to be kept in separate chambers to reduce risk of containment breach and/or loss of either anomaly. SCP-XXXX-2 is to be sent weekly to a trained therapist, and so far has revelealed
Description: SCP-XXXX is a blond Caucasian human male with blue eyes in appearance and is aproximately 1.85 meters tall. It seems to have regular behavior and is very social with anyone who interviews it, both Class D and staff. Both have described it as friendly and open. (See Addendum XXXX.2) Soon after visits it is seen with an exact copy of the visitor. They match each visitor and tests have revealed that each subject have matching DNA.
The anomaly is capable of creating polar opposites of each subject, with opposites personalities and opposite genders and race as well, if it chooses to do so. It is also capable of creating a copy of a subject with whatever belongings the original subject has, including weaponry and tools. It is capable to create as many copies of a subject as he pleases, and doesn't seem to get tired at all.
SCP-XXXX is very emotional and hostile towards staff and refuses to cooperate, unless threats are made to surviving duplicates. The anomaly constantly looks for ways to escape, but has so far hasn't had success. (See Addendum XXXX.3) SCP-XXXX seems to be passionate towards copies of subjects, and has even tried to risk its own life to save them.
SCP-XXXX-2 (See Addendum XXXX.3) is a pale Caucasian male with dark hair and red eyes, possibly from albinism. It is hostile towards staff as well, but is very manipulative, and will cooperate if there is a profit to be made. SCP-XXXX-2 is described as sadistic and cynical. He tends to make subjects fear him, or at least be wary of him. It has little to no care of copies he creates, and will send them to die without hesitation if that benefits him. SCP-XXXX-2 has little to no care of life, and enjoys attacking staff and will [REDACTED] Therapists are to be seen weekly to check in on the anomaly's psychological well-being, and
Addendum XXXX.1: Discovery
SCP-XXXX was discovered in New Jersey near an abandoned jail by Agent █████ when he was looking for the source of people who were appearing despite the fact that were born nearly a hundred and fifty (150) years ago. SCP-XXXX was found the abandoned Essex County Jail Annex, looking through mugshots of convicted criminals of the late 18th century and recreating them. After the anomaly was taken into custody, the copies of the subjects were terminated, unknown to SCP-XXXX.
Addendum XXXX.2: Incident
Dr. Nirthick insisted to further study the "cloning" with the use of Class D, and later with himself. After revealing the use of the Class D and the states of their expiration, behavior for SCP-XXXX changed dramatically for the worse.
The following interview was performed by Dr. Nirthick during after study of several copies.
Interviewer: Dr. Casper Nirthick
Interviewed: SCP-XXXX
[BEGIN LOG]
SCP-XXXX: Hello, Dr. Nirthick
Dr. Nirthick: (Surprised) How do you know my name?
SCP-XXXX: (Chuckles) Well, an acquaintance of yours, or rather, a brother of him, has told me some things about you.
Dr. Nirthick: (Puzzled) Brother?
SCP-XXXX: Yes, you do know twins, right?
(Subject tosses fidget ball from one hand to the other)
Dr. Nirthick: Yes? But what-
SCP-XXXX: (Interrupts) That is what I make, really. They're like twins! It's pretty amazing. Twins are exactly the same! Same looks, same personality-
Dr. Nirthick: I know what twins are, XXXX-
SCP-XXXX: (Interrupts again) Do you have any twins?
Dr. Nirthick: No, I have a single child. So (pauses) how does it work, how do you clone them?
SCP-XXXX: I don't know.
Dr. Nirthick: Pardon?
SCP-XXXX: (shrugs) I really don't know. I just think it, and they show up.
Dr. Nirthick: (Growing impatient) I'm sorry, but you seem to misunderstand. You are here so we can learn how you work and help people. Is there anything you can tell me about your past?
SCP-XXXX: I… my childhood was pretty ordinary. I found out about my abilities when I was 15. Ever since then I had to be careful, because I was afraid of what would happen if someone found out. So I left and used my powers in secret. That's why I was at that prison at New Jersey. Then you guys found me. (sighs) Sorry to change the subject, but do you think some of the people that I had brought up could come and visit? It's a little boring here.
Dr. Nirthick: I'm sorry, but that can't happen.
(Subject stops throwing fidget ball)
SCP-XXXX: What do you mean? Are they alright?
Dr. Nirthick: Let me be honest with you. You know this facility has plenty of anomalies, many of them dangerous, right?
(Subject becomes quiet)
Dr. Nirthick: I'm sorry, but some of them had to go, and… to put it lightly, they haven't come back.
SCP-XXXX: You killed them.
Dr. Nirthick: (Sighs) It was for the greater good. I'm truly sorry.
SCP-XXXX: You can't choose what is the greater good. What do you think you are, god? A life is a life, and you just go on and kill them for what? Science? They were my friends!
(A copy of Dr. Nirthick materializes, but with clothes of opposite colors of the original Dr. Nirthick)
Dr. Nirthick: What's this?
SCP-XXXX: The greater good.
(Anomaly of Dr. Nirthick attempts to attack Dr. Nirthick)
(Security personnel enters the room, and copies of security appear, all equally armed.)
(Room is sealed and staff initiate lock down.)

SCP-XXXX-2 found after attempting to flee |
---|
Interviewer Notes: The SCP became extremely violent after the encounter with me, and it seems like the incident “unlocked” an ability for the anomaly, which of course will need to be studied. We just need to find a way to safely do so. He created an opposite of myself, I believe. Of course, this is just a theory. Surviving duplicates have been contained and will be studied. The Intelligence Agency has already sent an agent to go and try to confirm SCP-XXXX's background story.
Addendum XXXX.3: SCP-XXXX-2
Approximately two months later there was a containment breach of SCP-XXXX. Having made duplicates of several armed security officers and later of a few Mobile Task Force operatives, it took two (2) hours to neutralize the threats and to capture and recontain SCP-XXXX. It is revealed later that the anomaly had used mirrors to recreate individuals, allowing it to escape. After recapture of SCP-XXXX, staff discovered that SCP-XXXX was still loose through surveillance, and decided that what was loose was a copy of SCP-XXXX. After capturing the copy, it was tested and discovered that it had the same abilities as the original, and the new anomaly was designated SCP-XXXX-2.
Addendum XXXX.4: Interaction
Interviewer: Dr. Derrick Curt
Interviewed: SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-2, both restrained and blindfolded.
[BEGIN LOG]
Dr. Curt: SCP-XXXX, I believe you're aware of yourself creating a duplicate? A clone of yourself?
SCP-XXXX: (Looks up, though he can't see) Is he here?
SCP-XXXX-2: (Laughs) So you brought me to my creator? My master? (quiets down to a mocking whisper) My god?
Dr. Curt: I don't know about that, but you're both here.
SCP-XXXX: I didn't mean to create this… thing. A thing that loves to kill. Who wants to kill you, me, and everyone else.
Dr. Curt: Is this true?
SCP-XXXX-2: So what if it is? It's not like you can stop me. I don't care, unlike this idiot here. I know you guys keep us here for your own interests. The "powers" we have are convenient to your work, so you keep us here against our will. The A-hole here doesn't really mind, huh? He just loves people. Also, stop bothering with your therapy. I don't care about which word means which feelings and all that. Sure, it makes some people calm down, and that's a state of mind we value in the animals we eat, but that's not something I want to be a part of.
Dr. Curt: We've updated our containment procedures to make sure you never hurt anyone. You are under our control. (leans forward towards SCP-XXXX-2) Now, tell me how you work. It's not worth keeping secret. Do you have any idea how big this is?
SCP-XXXX-2: Tell me.
(Dr. Curt laughs)
Dr. Curt: Armies, whole armies could be made from just one person. And not just that. Doctors, teachers, even lovers, could be made. Really, you could make people for any profession. Do you have any idea how powerful you are. (stands up and looks at both anomalies) Do either of you really know? Do you see the big picture?
SCP-XXXX-2: You know you're really only proving me right, you idiot?
SCP-XXXX: This power isn't something you can control, Dr. Curt.
SCP-XXXX-2: And even if we knew, do you'd think we'd waste it to help stupid pricks like you?
[END LOG]
Interviewer notes: Both of them are very arrogant. Especially the second one. They don't know anything, so we may as well give up asking them. They both just won't cooperate. Some more testing will do, but maybe provide some sort of sedative of some kind for the second one? It has become very aggressive, and we want cooperation from both anomalies.
Below are some subjects of that had been brought to SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-2 and the results.
Test Log 9285-E3:
Name: Dr. Casper Nirthick
Date: ██/██/20██
Test on the nature of SCP-XXXX's cloning abilities. This log is documenting all the individuals who were cloned during the past ██ months. Currently, duplicates are being held in several rooms in sector ██ at Site █. Besides these subjects, SCP-XXXX has been asked for production of several more Class-D personnel for testing around the Foundation, in exchange for at least attempting to keep such personnel safe and more visits. No staff is to inform SCP-XXXX of any Class-D fatality.
Original Subjects
D-3574: A Caucasian male of 35 years. Has a disturbed psychology due to past events.
D-4569: An African American female of 27 years. Has a minor mental instability.
Agent ███: [DATA EXPUNGED]
Dr. Nirthick: A Caucasian of 7█ years. Has a well-balanced psychology.
Armed security officer:
Duplicates
D-3574-2: A female Caucasian of 35 years. Has identical memories to D-3574. Subject becomes very confused with its identity and later commits suicide.
D-4569-2: An identical female. Attacks D-4569 and has a case of identity-crisis.
Agent ███-2: [DATA EXPUNGED]
Dr. Nirthick-2: Dressed in dark lab coat and white shirt, opposite of original clothing. Was terminated at the interview (See addemdum XXXX.2)
Armed Security Officer: Armed with a [REDACTED] and dressed in uniform of opposite colors.
Notes: It was very disturbing firsthand to be attacked by myself, but I feel that we have made good progress. I extremely discourage armed subjects in any future testing, but if you do, use proper protocol. No one is allowed to tell SCP-XXXX about any Class D loss, to avoid any incident.
Test Log 8245-Z5:
Name: Dr. Derrick Curt
Date: ██/█/2018
After the incident resulting with the creation of SCP-XXXX-2, several test were performed to see if the anomaly has similar abilities to SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-2 complies, but warns that he will kill the Class-D personnel. Warning is noted.
Original Subjects
D-9742: An African American male with a strong physical build and average IQ. Subject questions SCP-XXXX-2's intentions and becomes wary, warned about its nature.
D-2473: A Caucasian female with an average build below average IQ. Subject tries to open door and leave containment cell.
D-6012: A Caucasian male of slight below average strength and above average IQ. Subject attempts to negotiate with SCP-XXXX-2 and lies about pulling strings for its escape.
Tactical Response Officer: Is present during minor containment breach. Subject is armed with an FN P90 submachine gun, and he opens fire at the anomaly instead of fleeing, putting himself in jeopardy and breaking protocol.
Duplicates
D-9742-2: An Albino male of with a slight weaker build but high IQ. Copy attacks D-9732 with a high speed and knocks D-9732 down, at which point it terminates him. SCP-XXXX-2 asks for someone better next time.
D-2473-2: An African American female with high IQ and strength. She attacks D-2473 and takes her in a headlock, at which point D-2473 expires. SCP-XXXX-2 expresses deep disappointment.
D-6012-2: A East European male with high strength but a low IQ. The brute beats D-6012, until he expires. SCP-XXXX-2 asks Dr. Curt to simply give up.
Tactical Response Officer: An officer with a uniform of different colors armed with a [REDACTED] Half of tactical officer remains as the duplicate finishes termination with a knife. Subject is later neutralized by ten (10) planted turrets placed by Mobile Task Force units. After recapturing SCP-XXXX-2, he states that he enjoyed that a lot better. He suggests the creation of the The Combat Logs.
Notes: Well, I believe this has been ineffective. All this has led to Class-D deaths and loss one one officer. We did find out how he can change people this way. More testing is pending.
Bacteria studied growing on the particle of SCP-XXXX |

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP -XXXX is to kept in a Type S Standardized Humanoid Anomaly Containment Cell (SHACC-S) at Site ██. HVAC Systems are to be monitored and filtered so no substance of SCP-XXXX makes its way through. SCP-XXXX is permitted to receive sand and other substances from staff prior to tests with authority from Site Director.
New Containment Procedure Update: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a sealed box in an airtight room. The room is to be cleaned weekly, with a supervisor to make sure no particles of any kind are to be found inside the room. Both janitor and supervisor are to take a proper shower and cleanup to make sure no particles are found on them, and are to be provided clean clothes by a security officer. They must clean up after themselves, and make sure they leave no tracks behind.
During transportation, SCP-XXXX is to be placed in an airtight standard secured chest and be escorted by three security personnel after the hallway has been cleaned recently. SCP-XXXX does not breathe, so its new cell should not be connected to any of the site's HVAC systems.
During testing, SCP-XXXX is to be given controlled shocks to keep at docile levels or, if it becomes to become too aggravated, is to be doused with regular water from a 2”x100' Hose provided to dissolve SCP-XXXX to a smaller, more manageable size.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an entity in containment since █/██/18██ at Site ██. SCP-XXXX is an extremely electrical particle with a diameter of approximately half a millimeter (0.5 mm), with an unmeasured number of watts. It has extremely magnetic properties that attract many different substances in small forms as particles, such as dirt, sand, grains, sugars, salts, powders, and [REDACTED]
SCP-XXXX is often in a harmless state when isolated from said particles, but can cause extremely electrical currents that can shock and kill anyone who comes in contact with the SCP. When possible, particles that are in the area will be pulled towards SCP-XXXX to form an entity. The entity will take the form of a humanoid male, but is capable of taking any form it chooses.
SCP-XXXX can increase and decrease the space between particles to change size and shape, and has control of its mass, being able to turn from a cloud into a solid object. SCP-XXXX is capable of speech, but it is unknown to staff where its voice originates or how it can speak.
Addendum XXXX-1: Discovery
SCP-XXXX was found in a candy store called █████'s in the small town of [REDACTED] in the supply closet after Agent ████ heard of suspicious activity in the area. The store owner, █████ Sr. confided during questioning the following:
Interviewer: Agent ████
Interviewed: █████ Sr., founder of █████'s
[BEGIN LOG]
Agent ████: What was the anomaly doing in your shop?
█████ Sr.: He came to me. He was lost and dying, and I offered him shelter.
Agent ████: (takes out paper and pen) Dying? How can something like it- (pauses) -him be dying?
█████ Sr.: You Americans know how sugar can dissolve in your coffee, hmm?
Agent ████: Yes, but what does that have to do with the anomaly?
█████ Sr.: It was raining that day.
Agent ████: (Takes note) So he can dissolve? He can be washed away by water?
(Silence)
Agent ████: I'd appreciate what you have.
█████ Sr.: Don't hurt him, please? He is a good man.
Agent ████: What we found is not a man. It's not human.
[END LOG]
Interviewer notes: I knew he felt worried for the anomaly, but I didn't think he would grow attached to it. He has given very useful for us to successfully contain the anomaly, but he doesn't seem to be very happy about what he told us. I worry he's going to do something stupid to try and free the anomaly. I hope he doesn't, for his sake and his son's.
Area affected by the Dust Bowl |
---|
Incident XXXX-1A: The Dust Bowl
In the year of 1933, SCP-XXXX escaped containment in the Site ██ at [REDACTED] and took out a squad of Tactical Response Officers in the desert. Then the anomaly was able to blend into its environment and caused a storm that spread over the regions of Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and Kansas, causing damage to at least ██ sites. This resulted with over 7,000 civilian casualties, [REDACTED] Foundation casualties, and over 250,000 fleeing the Plains. It took 5 years to track down and recapture the anomaly. After capture, SCP-XXXX's containment procedures were changed in order to prevent any more containment breaches. A change in classification is perhaps in order.
The following is an interview between the anomaly and Dr. █████, who was given a mandatory cleaning and the interrogation room was also given a mandatory cleaning, to prevent damage to staff and the site.
Interviewer: Dr. █████
Interviewed: SCP-XXXX, kept at a minimum size, enough to be able to speak.
[BEGIN LOG]
Dr. █████: Well, it's been a while, SCP-XXXX. Is there anything you have to say for yourself?
SCP-XXXX: (silence)
Dr. █████: (sighs) It's been over five years since you've killed thousands of people. Do you feel no remorse? Don't you regret what you've done?
SCP-XXXX: You think I meant to do this? I (pauses) I was angry. That was the closest I ever had let myself get to the breaking point in my mind. I wanted to be free, and then I learned what you did to █████, and to his son.
Dr. █████: He tried to break into a top secret facility.
SCP-XXXX: He was like a father to me. And his son was my best friend.
Dr. █████: I'm sorry. Security was only following orders.
SCP-XXXX: Can I see the other subject? I know she's in the facility.
Dr. █████: What? SCP-████? Of course not. Testing is testing. That's it.
SCP-XXXX: (Produces sound similar to a sigh) Then I'm done talking.
[END LOG]
Interviewer notes: We finally caught the anomaly, but we must still be careful, for another containment breach would be a catastrophe.

Entrance to SCP-XXXX |
---|
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is located at an abandoned █ story building at [REDACTED] The entrance is to be monitored daily by assigned monitors. Surveillance is to be regularly checked to be functioning properly. If any missing subjects are to ever return after tests, three armed security officers are to assist with opening the door and allowing the subject back to Foundation. Trackers inside the building are to be checked to be functioning properly as well and are to be replaced annually.
At least two security officers must be deployed in the area. Any individuals attempting to gain access to SCP-XXXX must be detained for questioning.
Description: The entrance to SCP-XXXX is an elevator located in [REDACTED], Germany. (See Incident Log XXXX-E1) It contains █ floors above ground, each containing ██ rooms. Many of these rooms are built in a way that does not appear to serve any specific purpose, containing, for example, redundant machinery and devices with a small amount of corrosion and rust, sewage systems that are unattached to any kind of disposal unit, and numerous power cords extended across the room that seem to have no purpose, as the building has no access to power. The door itself is damaged from lack of care and rust has begun to show, and a singular hand print has been found from the inside, suggesting anomalies or subjects have made it back to the surface. The door itself has a warning, translated to “To prevent accidents, open door slowly” in incorrect German grammar. Once entering the elevator itself, a subject has the choice to press a set of buttons. If the subject is to go up, they will enter ordinary rooms in the building which can be seen from outside, with no sign of anomalous activity. But if the subject triggers the singular button below one, with a symbol ☠, the elevator car will go down for at a steady rate for approximately two minutes, and open to bring the subject into a maze. The button itself is to be turned 180 degrees and pulled to trigger the elevator to head down, otherwise simply doing nothing. The maze itself is made out of perhaps hundreds of tunnels and rooms, and they are inhabited by entities classified as SCP-XXXX-1 (See Document XXXX-II). Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be terminated if reaching the elevator or the surface, and any subject who have spent over 72 hours within are also to be terminated. Due to results after Document XXXX III, handmade maps are not to be used for multiple tests. Class-D personnel are to travel within SCP-XXXX by tracking down their movements through the tunnels. Whichever researcher is currently in the testing it to write down directions Class-D travel, unless other protocols have been assigned to the test.
Authorized personnel of level 3 clearance or higher are granted access to documents XXXX-I through XXXX-III for referral and future testing.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a near-incorporeal entity. It appears to be a humanoid male with distorted physical features, often having a lack of skin pigmentation and of eye color. It is described to be approximately 2.15 meters tall, and attempts to measure have its weight have been inconclusive. Its physical matter is unstable, and is the laws of physics do not apply to SCP-XXXX.
The anomaly claims to be Level 4 Senior Researcher Dr. [REDACTED], who was researching an anomalous phenomenon on the day of 9/██/201█. No data has been found on neither Dr. [REDACTED] or his recruitment. Interviews with SCP-XXXX has led to the belief that such anomalous phenomenon could have possibly nearly removed Dr. [REDACTED] from existence. Other data involving Dr. [REDACTED] was also erased, including the anomalous phenomenon itself, which according to SCP-XXXX was once designated as SCP-████. Other data, such as relatives of Dr. [REDACTED] and influence in and outside of the Foundation seems to be erased.
