Page Layout (Optional): Normal
Elevator Pitch: Essentially, the object is a game of Russian roulette, the object being a small coin (specifically from the Ides of March coin series struck in Ancient Rome after the assassination of Julius Caesar), placed on a small, square tin plate. This coin can not be picked up by one person, it is seemingly fixed to the plate, impossible to separate. However in the presence of more than one person in a certain range (a 10 meter radius from the coin), the coin could be flipped. While within this range, no subjects can leave the 10 meter sphere of influence (SoI), unless they are the only one within the SoI. Upon landing, one of the subjects in the SoI instantly has 23 open wounds in the back (referencing the 23 stabs upon Caesar). With multiple subjects in the SoI, the coin morphs into a die reflecting the total number of people in the room, with the same result as the coin.
Central Narrative: There would be a testing interaction between D-Class personnel being forced to flip the coin, with research personnel directing the D-Class what to do. Some would wear body armor and some could have some medical supplies that could patch the wounds.
Hook/Attention-Grabber: This SCP is unique due to its link with its clear reference to the past and it's creation, allowing the reader to wonder how the object came to exist.
Additional Notes: This was very loosely inspired by the character Two Face from Batman.
