Dr. Lucy Daniels paused for a moment over the tablet she had been working with, moving her gaze to the flower that sat on her desk, next to a bunch of other nicknacks and trinkets. The flower was striking: mostly white with black splashes of color around the petals and stem. If you looked at it a certain way, it seemed to be continually growing.
"Lucy. I hate to bother you when you're clearly working hard, but I need to have a word with you." Abigal White, senior head of the Foundation historical review, tapped her on the shoulder.
"Abigal, Christ, you startled the hell out of me, couldn't you have-'
"Continually let you pretend to work? No, I can't." She gave a laugh, and pointed out to the flower. The petals twiched, and a small cloud of pollen went into the office air.
"Flower looks familiar, Lucy. Isn't that from 4661-"
A buzz over the terminal sounded, cutting Abigal off, but without Lucy answering, it was clear that it had been. Lucy was a sentimental person. She liked having keepsakes and trinkets around. Besides, the flower was beautiful, and since it had been cut from the plant, non-anomalous. It reminded her of those days, long ago.
"Abigal, ease up on the small talk. What is this about?"
Abigal cleared her throat and slid an important looking document forward. Written in bold, offical lettering, the notice read:
NOTICE FROM THE FOUNDATION RECORDS AND INFORMATION SECURITY ADMINISTRATION.
Lucy groaned as soon as she saw the words Foundation Records. Everything to them had to have been kept, they where as much as a hoarder as she was, but she still didn't like them.
"What do they want this time?", Lucy asked, trying to hide her annoyance. It wasn't the prospect of working that bothered her, it was having to go down and copy information that had already been written. It seemed like a waste of time.

Object Class: Safe |
| Level 2 Clearance |
Threat Level: Green ● |
A sketch of SCP-XXXX, attributed to Albert George the 1st. Taken from the book, 'Prayer of Roseafar'.
Special Containment Procedures: Citizens of the Scottish town of Roseafar are to be given the new, experimental amnestiacs, in order to remove memories and experiences related with SCP-XXXX.
Mobile Task Force Theta-4 'Gardeners', are to survey Roseafar and remove infestations of SCP-XXXX from commerical and residential buildings under the guise of invasive species managment. One SCP-XXXX specimen per building is to be transplanted into the Site 16 greenhouse and watered regularly. Pollen from the Site 16 greenhouses are to be stored and and analyzed. Excess seeds and pollen are to be burnt.
Description: SCP-XXXX refers to an anomalous, unidentified specimen of flowering ivy, that posseses cognitohazardous abilities. SCP-XXXX resembles Parthenocissus quinquefolia but posseses several differences:
- SCP-XXXX's leaves are a deep blue, compared to the green coloration of Parthenocissus quinquefolia.
- SCP-XXXX produces small clusters of teal colored flowers that grow underneneath leaf clusters; Parthenocissus quinquefolia does not grow flowers.
- SCP-XXXX produces small groupings of red berries, which while inedible to humanbeings, had often been used by Roseafar citizens as a dying agent. Parthenocissus quinquefolia does not grow berries, nor does any known specimen of ivy.
SCP-XXXX is native to Roseafar, Scotland, with the seedlings only growing in urban envrioments, such as dwellings and commerical buildings.
SCP-XXXX seedlings are often found in locations that would normally be impossible for normal plant growth. Such locations include tables and other wooden furniture, appliances such as stoves, building materials like bricks and cement, and household items such as books, clothing and decorational objects.
SCP-XXXX's lifecycle is unknown, as is how individual SCP-XXXX specimens form. What is currently known is that SCP-XXXX's flowers produce cognitohazardous pollen, with information transfer to the brain occuring when the pollen spores are smelt or trouched. The messages transfered are not deemed to be harmful, with most messages consisting of thoughts, memories and poems related towards romantic love.
Addendum No. 1: Pollen Information
Throughout the year of 198█, SCP-XXXX lead researcher Dr. Lucy Daniels has mantained a growth record of two specimens of SCP-XXXX, along with the information gathered from the pollen.

Welcome, L. Daniels.

The following information has been gathered from Amie Amarte, and Lilly Lamónte, both residents of Roseafar. Information from the pollen has come from D-891 through having him smell the pollen specimen and later having written down the information gathered from each sample.
Information has also been recorded on overall plany growth.
