Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe Currently Undetermined
Special Containment
Procedures:
Item SCP-XXXX is to be held in a cell with a system that can flood the cell with Liquid Nitrogen at a moments notice. All Personnel have the authority to enter and exit SCP-XXXX's chamber, provided that they are not currently on duty Until further notice, no staff member is under the authority to enter SCP-XXXX's cell, save for the purpose of delivering water. SCP-XXXX's must be brought water three times each day (Note: the volume of water varies based on SCP-XXXX's mass at the time).
In the event that SCP-XXXX ceases complacency, it should not be spoken to until it vocally agrees to comply with foundation staff-members. Under no circumstances should SCP-XXXX be threatened with violence. It is also imperative that SCP-XXXX does not know of the Liquid Nitrogen system in its cell, as knowledge of such could trigger extreme anxiety in SCP-XXXX.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a bipedal humanoid of unknown genus, standing at approximately 2.75 meters. SCP-XXXX is comprised of what at first inspection appears to be stone. Several attempts (For descriptions of the attempts, see Addendum XXXX.5) were made to determine SCP-XXXX's composition, with all but one failing. SCP-XXXX also appears to have some sort of internal organ within a hole on its back. The hole had only opened when. The function of this organ is currently unknown. All attempts to determine what the organ is have failed (See Addendum XXXX.5). SCP-XXXX requires sustenance in the form of water, but has not shown that it requires sleep, or rest of any kind.
SCP-XXXX is animate and sentient. It is fully capable of speaking English, and has been shown to speak to facility members in the event that it wants something. SCP-XXXX displays a low level of intelligence, easily being outsmarted by present staff members on numerous occasions (See Addendum XXXX.2). SCP-XXXX remains docile nearly all the time, save for when it is deprived of sustenance, or when it is is threatened violently. For a reason currently unknown, SCP-XXXX is extremely protective of his back. (See Addendum XXXX.7).
SCP-XXXX has been described by several staff members who had previously tested on it as "friendly" and "pleasant to be around" (See addendum XXXX.3). On the day of its containment on 5/6/2003, SCP-XXXX had vocally expressed that it was bored, and desired some form of entertainment. Dr. Longo provided SCP-XXXX's chamber with a couch, a 1980 Curtis Mathes Color Television, a plastic ball, and a coloring book with a box of crayons. SCP-XXXX was satisfied with these accommodations, and agreed to an interview (See Addendum XXXX.1).
