Item#: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid Safe
Special Containment Procedure:
SCP-XXXX must be contained in a chamber 2mx2mx3m and preserved in a glass case. A red light must be always turned on. Is prohibited any other type of light with a Lux value over the 20. A Level 2 Clearance is necessary to access the chamber.
During the night, the chamber must be protected with two armed guards at the entrance, to avoid that any personnel Class-D can use SCP-XXXX to escape the Facility. In chase of a Breach, SCP-XXXX must be terminated or be taken in custody by the Facility scientists.
description:
SCP-XXXX is a Polaroid picture 14x6cm, with an approximate weight of 56.09g. The picture figures differents scenario; most of them are other SCP’s Chamber, Offices, Maintenance Tunnels and the various zone of the Facility. The average distance from the chamber and the places figured in the picture is 150m. The most relevant characteristic of this SCP’s the possibility to teleport the subject that has touched directly the picture in the figured place.
To return back, the subject can normaly exit the room where he was teleported or (in chase of impossibility) search for SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-2 differently from SCP-XXXX will figure only the chamber where this last one is placed. Once touched SCP-XXXX-2 the subject will be teleported back into the chamber.
On ██/██/████ subject D-1108, during experiment TP-99█-█ did not returned back into the chamber as programmed. Alert status was declared and the whole Facility entered in restriction mode. Several minutes later, D-1108 was found dead inside SCP-049 chamber as SCP-049-2 and terminated.
Researchers have estimated that the chance to decease is under the 1% and all experiments should be safe.
Addendum 1.
SCP-XXXX started to deteriorate presenting burns and scratches. All experiments are suspended untill researchers don’t find a reasonable explanation and a way to restore it.
SCP-XXXX passed from Euclid to Safe Class after reform Epsilon-Echo 74a
